I don't think Kool Moe Dee's career was long enough but in an interesting way you could say the same about Biggie. L.L has to be on that list. Now the real debate is are you taking Biggie off and putting Rakim as one of the four?

Mo Dee dropped five solo album plus two albums when he was in the Treacherous Three...





Hell,Mo See influenced Rakim and LL and pioneered the fast flow when he was in Treacherous Three.

It's more than just albums and music but the artist had to have moved the culture of hip-hop and spawned artists there after..... style,sound,wave, influence.

Only certain artists have done that.

So, LL; Kane; I can put Ultra as one entry; and maybe Hov.

I'm tempted to put Pu or Kool G in there but I can't really say they changed Rap the way the others did. They just had crazy flow.

Naw I get it. I get why LL should be there. I get why RAkim should be there.

But if i'm going my top 4....it gotta be BIG, Jay, Nas and X. But maybe i'm biased because 90's hip hop especially late 90's birthed me. And i'm in my 30's now and that's 30 years of listening to those guys. Kane, KRS and Kim before my time....

I guess its one of those things where everyone gonna have a different opinion. Someone 25 would probably say 50 Cent, Cam, Jay or some shit. Someone 55 would probably have LL, Kane, Kim in there.

BIG to me is the most important. I get the argument but BIG for me is the most gifted rapper to come out of New York. He could've made it in any era. He would be relevent now. HE would be relevent in 1984....it didn't matter.
