If you put him in the West with Steph, Kawhi, Harden, KD, Jokic, Wemby, etc, nobody would even know who he is. He benefits from being the only big name in his conference.
This season 10 teams in the West are above .500, but nobody on BGOL brags about the toughness of the Western Conference anymore or downplays competition in the East. That was done strictly to discredit the first 15 years of Bron's career so the MHC, large bills, and dtownsgayest could keep dick sucking Mike and Kobe thru the 2010's to now.
