We're simply asking for the players that are known for dunking to enter the contest.
Specifically the ones with the big names.
Yeah but why? Lebron was a great in game dunker. Like I get why back in the day because the best dunkers was MJ, Kemp, Wilkins, etc.
In 2024 when every dunk has pretty much been done it’s best if they get the Stephen Castles and Mac McClungs…..they are the best dunkers. We add Ja Morant so he can go out there and do a windmill? We had Jaylen Brown last year and he had some of the worst dunks I’ve ever seen lol.

He was the first known for dunking to pussy out on the dunk contest and many others followed suit.
Lebron and Zion entered the high school dunk contests, but when it came to the pros they got moist.
Knowing Zion he was probably hurt!

Zion I get. Zion was a great dunker that's his thing.
Lebron ain't never really been a dunker. Even the clip you posted them ddunks was basic for what the slam dunk compeition is. We've just come to far that I get why they wouldn't do it. Like Morant is not a better dunker than Mac McClung and they be trying to not hurt they little ego.
Zion and Ant and maybe Morant are the guys I think can put on a show. But they ain't better dunkers than Castle or Mac to be honest there's a bunch of G league guys that can put on a show in it.
People want names to promote the slam dunk not get the actual best dunkers.

We just want the big name dunkers "Ja/Ant" that are known to dunk to dunk in the contest.. Not have Ja and Ant sit on the sidelines watching.
This is Ant and Ja's 5th and 6th seasons respectively, so I don't expect them to enter the dunk contest anymore. They're just the examples of the big name dunkers who should've entered in the past.
Along with Lebron and Zion.
I can't think of any current big names young players who should've entered because they haven't really made their dunking skills known.
