I’ve been meaning to comment on all the great posts in the last couple weeks. The RR wasn’t bad. We knew flair was coming back so that kind of sucks. She seriously gets an automatic title shot every time she makes her return. Personally I didn’t want to see her or Becky lynch. And if they did return they need to work their way back up. Reason being, all 3 rosters have plenty of talent. NXT is dope. Stratton has barely wrestled since she arrived on the main show. Now she’s champ. Obviously that’s why flair is back because we have to see who’s the best. Past vs present if you will. I’m actually ok with that. However, certain people need a push. Naomi needs a championship run. This tag thing is cool but I think she can pull it off. Bianca did great during her run. I’m hoping Stratton gets to keep hers a while because she’s barely had it and hasn’t defended it.
Men’s rumble winner threw me for a loop didn’t expect Jey to win. He deserves it and I’m glad he chose Gunther. As we all know, gunther has it physically but damn his promo game is weak. WWE needs to assign certain guys managers. For example the Miz. I like Miz actually. He worked his ass off to get to his position. But his strength is his ability to talk and get put in humiliating positions and making it humerous. Him and Kross should be managers for certain wrestlers. Someone said this about Melo. Melo needs a mouth piece bad. He got all the wrestling down pat. This is what saved Roman IMO. I don’t care what people say. He didn’t grow on us. He grew on everyone as a result of Heyman and the Bloodline. The USO’s (both of them) can talk. Their passion bleeds through every time they on the mic. Sami was just hilarious and emotionally believable the entire bloodline run and heyman of course is one of the GOATS on the mic. Without them, Roman would still be ass.
Going forward, Lyra needs more screen time. That girl can wrestle. She needs more matches against the likes of Iyo or Stratton. During NXT she was a beast. Hopefully they don’t ruin her on the main card. The new day needs to keep doing what they doing. Them and the street profits have to clash eventually. SP has Ben WAAAAAAAY overdue for the belts. I say give it to them first and let Montez ford cut more promos. They have limited their screen time ever since they been on the main shows. They know he’s the total package. Not sure if they keeping him with Dawson on purpose. Maybe they real tight in real life and this is what they want. Either way, let the profits reign begin.
Is it just me or is anyone getting a tad tired of Cody’s run? I don’t hate it. I don’t hate him. But for some reason I wouldn’t mind seeing someone else hold it. Bron will get it one day. Solo is back so that’s another holder for the belt.
Harley Cameron needs a belt. That is one multi talented girl. She’s hilarious. Mone sounds terrible and fake next to her. Toni storm is back to her old ways. Not sure if the aussies got something in the water but damn they are talented. Let them fly.
Megan Bayne will be wasted. Mark my words. Send her to ROH to fued with Athena. Please. And throw willow in there too. She’s great and I hope she don’t get forgotten. But she’ll be feuding with statlander so that could be good.
I need the AEW male storylines to stop being so abrupt. MJF and Cole never really settled their beef. I like dusty but him and MJF is a step down. The hurt business needs to work with the hounds of hell. And when the hell does sky come back?? Rant over cuz I’m tired.

Dang Man you said a lot. One thing that I want to call out is that New Day needs to move to Smackdown. With MCMG and DIY, the tag division is dying over there. Between Judgment day and American made and others, the tag division is fine on Raw.
I had said earlier that Gunther needs a manager. I think Carmelo is fine, but he just needs a new gimmick. I don't know, don't make him like Ricochet, but he needs a different gimmick or something. Don't do nothing crazy like make him into a stalker, but I'm going to be honest, I would like to see him fight against Dom Mysterio. This is who he should be fighting anyway to show off his wrestling skills. I'm not even sure Dom is 200 lbs. I agree with you about Charlotte Flair...she's annoying, but it sounds like people still respond to her so we'll see.
Man, I wonder what kind of acting lessons they give these wrestlers on NXT. Nikita and Javon Evans really need to step it up. I know it‘s a developmental promotion but damn, this shit is like Kids Incorporated or You Can’t Do That on Television when those two are on.

Damn, didn't take long for Ricky Starks to arrive in NXT. This is exactly what he needs.
He needs to refine his character in NXT and chill with all the "Baby Rock" mannerisms.
If he can do that, he'll have a great run in NXT and possibly on the main roster.
If they can't make it on the main roster for the most part now it's cause they can't hack it with the big dogs.

You say that but I'm looking at guys like Carmelo, Austin Theroy, Australian Austin Theroy, etc. They all apparently had great matches & feuds in NXT and got called up doing pretty much the same character.
And I'm shocked they survived this year's layouts.
That shit is crazy and sad of how he died because it could've been prevented when it was an accident.
He should still be here with US.

Look. So many should have had a chance at the world title, especially him. But the nature of the business determined who got that opportunity in those days (as it does now, but there is a difference). And it doesn't help when you have substance abuse issues. But of course there are many who did have their run with the main titles, it just never panned out that way with him. But he had no issues with putting other people over, which you can't say for those who had main tile runs while they were sober and on their P's and Q's. I honestly can never recall a loss affecting how over the was. Very few had that ability. Kinda of like Sabu. You could tell me he had a 23-345 win/lose record, I'd say "Damn sure didn't feel like it." Lol

Yes, that would happen under the old regime all the time but not so much anymore.
None of the people you mentioned had their characters changed from NXT.
They just haven't succeeded on the main roster (yet) for various other reasons.
The only one on that list that's a bit of headscratcher is Austin Theory.
They were pushing him big-time under Vince (even had Theory beat John Cena at a WM), but ever since then it's like they're punishing him for some reason.
Theory's character changed on the main roster considering that they had him doing the goofy stuff with the Gargano family for the majority of his time in NXT.
I'm curious why he or the announcers ever mentioned his name.
I'm wondering if there's a dispute over using the Ricky Starks name.
TK has gotten petty about shit like that lately (even though he made himself out to not be "that guy") especially when it comes to talent leaving for WWE and/or being friends with CM Punk and Cody.
I hope not. It would suck, I mean, Jordynne Grace, Penta, Ethan Page kept their names where as others like Brian Pillman Jr was given the moniker of Lexis King. I hope Ricky isn't renamed "Osiris Jones" lolz.....
