I used to be able to fast for 2 days like it was nothing. I've been trying to fast for 2 days for the longest but I don't think have it in me anymore14-36 hours to trigger and optimize ketosis.
3-day fast to optimize autophagy and cellular regeneration as it becomes diminishing returns past this point.
Anything past that is for practicing discipline and self-control but not dietary or physiological benefits.
