This really isn't that alarming. Small planes crash all the time mainly due to pilot error. These pilots for private aircraft lack experience, don't have the proper equipment, and other shit.

Is there a reason that they don’t make planes in the material of the black box that is never destroyed??
Real answer the plane would be too heavy to fly.
You would have to know about planes and flight an engineering to understand that you need to make planes out of material that have some "give" and are light weight to maximize fuel economy.

The military does have secret titanium planes though. They are very very expensive to fly. They will be used to fight in an alien invasion.

Also the black box is orange.

That's wild!!

Survive slamming into the Earth at 150+ mph?!!

Not even Vibranium could keep a person alive after hitting the ground at 200 mph from 1,500 ft......

That's a ton of Ns....... dayum
Oh I get that for sure! I’m just venting because people lost lives over fuck shit!! Whether it was truly an “accident “ or if it was diabolical; shit is fuck shit! And I’m leaning to the diabolical side…

Yeah, there's a youtube channel that I watch. Dude primarily cover private/small planes accidents or mishaps as he calls them. about 90% of the crashes that he cover. Was resulted in pilot error. And out of those, the pilot either lied about training or in some cases. Forged documents to prove hours flown.

Aside from the obvious tragedy of loss of life, the forever affect this will have on those on the ground that witnessed this will be devastating. Especially, for the children that happened to see the entire event unfold. PTSD before puberty. Therapy alone probably won't be enough. Damn.

Imagine that was your neighborhood? Home will never feel the same again. When I was 11 a 17 year kid that I knew was shot twice with a shotgun and killed right in front of my house for trying to convince his friends to return a donation charity box they stole from the Wendy's up the block. Granted; this was the Bronx in the 90s, but until that moment all of the "bullshit" of growing up in the "hood" seemed to only be on TV, elsewhere. Never on my little cul de sac. Home was never the same after that. I was a latch key kid, so walking home from school was never the same. Anxiety used to hit every time l turned my corner to walk down my street.

I can't imagine surviving regular hood shit in a city as eventful as Philadelphia; to actually make it inside to the safety of your home. Just for a plane to crash and take out half of your neighborhood. Fuck.

I understand that this would be devastating anywhere, but damn.

the article states 11,000 feet per minute.
Leerjets are some of the fastest private jets out there.
They can ascend more rapidly than just about any other private jet.
However, they are also...(like this model).....old. But very reliable if kept mechanically sound....(engine overhauls, garmin updates, tires, etc)
I think this model Leerjet ceased production in 93'. So most of these jets that are still currently flying, are more than 30 and 40 years old.
But as i stated earlier in this thread.......looked like this one lost it's elevator control......the ability to control up and down movements of the plane.

it would be very similar to what is happening in this scene......
