I was really impressed seeing Hannah Einbinder holding her own opposite Jean Smart. No small feat there. And it was legitimately good dramatic acting (in a comedy series). You could see how they were wrapping up the season and setting up the next one. Good shit.

Been enjoying it so far. I've seen 3 eps and gonna finish the rest this coming week.

Here's the original series it's based upon. Looks like it ran for 2 seasons from 2011 - 2012.

The funniest line so far in Laid ... Stephanie Hsu and her friend are breaking down her relationship / sex timeline on a big board like a CSI crime show. Hsu noted a stretch wherein she was "fucking and sucking, wiping and swiping ..."
