Side note - he was great on City on a Hill with Kevin Bacon as well. That ran for 3 seasons or so and wrapped up 2 years back or so. Based in the early-90s and aired on Showtime.
Looking forward to checking it out, Playa. Adding it to the rotation with pops in the near future.
We finished The Penguin over dinner yesterday.
Started The Day of the Jackal as well, and going to add The Agency (Fassbender's new series) in the near future too.
Thoughts on Penguin?
This was a 10/10 for me. The lead character showed the fuck out, exhibiting far more range than I think he had. He needs to work on his ability to cry though, or show pain in.
The lead Black female was fine as fuck
They could have left out those other white flour, unseasoned, no fat back tits, from the other character. That women needs a breast bbl
That ending scene was some diabolical shit![]()
Yeah. I couldn't remember his name. He has been in some very good movies, but I really think he went to A list possibility with this one.You talking about Aldis?

Just my opinion though, I ain't a super movie, TV critic, shit I can't keep up.
This series was soo damn Black though. I just sat and watched this shit, no phones, no tablets, just relaxed and enjoyed the brother catching wreck.
This was good. Had a couple of "come on man" moments, but it was enjoyable. Two of the characters i predicted would go the route they did. If you pay close attention, you can figure out who is doing what. If they had eliminated two obvious scenes, i might not have figured it out.

Aldis Hodge Responds to James Patterson Turning Down Seven-Figure Deal for Refusing to Whitewash Alex Cross
"I did not have a lot of money," the author previously told The Hollywood Reporter. "They said, 'We just want one change; we want Alex to be a white guy.' And I said, 'F*** you.'"www.yahoo.com

This was an excellent series, and it was completely genuine. Btw: no fag bullshit.
Funny. I believe James Patterson, Cross' creator, envisioned him as a redbone. In the 1st book, "Along Came A Spider", he says his Alex's features are similar to Muhammad Ali's.
