1990s Rapper Buckshot Shorty Brutally Beat In Brooklyn

Cause its not. Dude look homely and taller

Taller?

He was on his knees the entire video

Yeah, I agree, I said I gave up too.

No need to entertain foolishness.

interesting though...

A black man a legend gets assaulted and a board that is predominantly black men who claim to be fans of his?

Jokes and trolling.

We are our own worst enemy.

Then we complain about OTHERS doing the same thing to us.

So EVERY TIME you read someone post about how black men are being treated by society?

Show them this thread.

Man you’re preaching. Mobb Deep NEVER blew the way they should have, wasted the prime years and albums on Jive, by the time they got on G-Unit their shine and allure had been dulled and they sounded like they were trying to hang on for dear life to past underground glory. But man, they had a 4 year run that was nothing short of unreal, another decent 4-5 years after that (Amerikaz Nightmare was lowkey underrated).
Da hell are you talking bout?
Mobb deep was on Loud, which had a lot the top acts at that time. They blew exactly the way they should have, wasn't nothing underground about them. Going to G-unit was a money play, they did not fit in over there at all and their time had already passed

If you scroll up, I was hoping this wouldn't happen but then I knew these dudes on BGOL never take nothing seriously and can't wait to joke or troll about someone who could've gotten killed getting beat up. :smh:

And then they confused why the OUTSIDE treat us like emotionless thugs

I understand the little jokes... but right now?

Is kinda foul.

You’re right I meant Loud, that was my mistake.

Maybe underground was the wrong word but never hitting the commercial scene in a major way outside of the East Coast is more appropriate? Shit, I was a loyal Source, XXL and whatever hip hop newsletter I could find reader in the 90s which is how Mobb Deep came on my radar and became one of my favorite groups, but IMO it wasn’t until Quiet Storm that they hit a zenith of commercial success IMO, when ’The Infamous’, a top-25 hip hop album of ALL TIME, ain’t no way they shouldve gone gold and then it took another 15 years for It to be certified platinum. All is IMHO.

RIP P.

yes better.
Rap was more mainstream by time quiet storm came out. Illmatic and reasonable doubt only went gold too. The Mobb main subject matters wasn't money clothes n hoes so yea casual bobbleheads aren't gonna go out and buy it.

Noyd as a rapper is better than Hav and P. He just couldnt get his shit together. I put him in the same boat as Killa Sin from Killarmy. CLEARLY a better rapper than the other KA members and Id say better than a few clansmen...but "he couldnt get his shit together"
Noyd had one of the funniest Trans lines of all time LOL
0:11 to 0:18 Lol

Noyd was so underrated…..I can’t put him above P off the strength of the top 10 (imo) classic H.N.I.C., where I feel P took his rapping to another universe…Noyd killed his verse on ‘Gun Play’.

Agree about Killa Sin, thought 9th Prince was my favorite MC in Killarmy…..Id have taken them or Cappadonna to replace U-God in the Clan.

Dude had one rememberable feature on Give up the goods....wasn't checking for noyd, the twins and none of the rest of them dudes

"I couldn't wait for Jungle to Drop....Oouchie wally was a banger"....I been waiting for 24 years Nas ain't dropped him cause he's hating.

Do you think that you're the only MF that was waiting for Jungle to drop!!!??
