Funny story for you. This goes back to 2002, as the movie was released in 2003.
I was walking the dog with my mom at Buntzen Lake which was about 20 mins from home. As we got to one side of the lake I could see some production stuff set up. Large cables and whatnot. Then we noticed a crew member. We asked him what was up. Said they were filming a movie. Asked which one ... turns out it was Freddy vs Jason. I was like - "Oh shit" and remembered hearing Kelly Rowland was in town of late, from a radio show that was talking about it.
I can't lie ... I was looking over my shoulder for Jason coming to kill us, and it was mid-afternoon, lol. That motherfucker is scary.
