It's so corny how they keep showing that Crown Jewel belt. Like, we get it, you guys sold your souls for these Saudis. I swear I can't wait til this agreement is up. Then again, Saudi money is long....doubt it ever will be.
I doubt we'll see either of those titles belt after this week. Both belts will be featured on Raw & Smackdown once, and then be forgotten.

Pretty much. I always thought WWE should have brought back "Clash of Champions" as a PPV and feature the champions of both brand against one another (WWE vs World, WWE Tag vs World Tag, US vs IC, etc...)

Sadly that idea may never come to pass due to this Saudi agreement.

I also couldn't care less about this match:lol:
I doubt Knight is losing in Saudi, so it's basically just who's eating the pin. I wouldn't be mind if Carmelo wins, but I also really don't care

I know this card is supposed to be stacked but I just don't care....

That opening match was boring and predictable and now we have to watch, Bianca, Jade, Jakara, Lash, etc... covered up because those faggots in Saudi prefer to see men shirtless and in trunks than seeing women's skin.
Crown Jewels are usually garbage and seem like throwaway PPV's but marketed like Wrestlemania

Yes it is and you're completely straying away from my original point. You said you thought it was because we were used to the usual build with white wrestlers. My point is, it doesn't matter, he rushes everything. Which has been an AEW issue from the jump. That's the problem I'm pointing out. He's in such a hurry to put on "dream" matches, that he gives no build. All the examples you provided have nothing to do with what I'm talking about which is why when you made the initial statement I said they are 2 different companies and they don't do things the same way. WWE been story telling for decades. AEW is mainly just giving matches for the sake of matches. They're attempting to change that, but you gotta get past Tony's lack of patience. So yeah, he's rushing the stuff with Bobby and Shelton, because, that's what he knows.
And I agreed that he does rush things. Two things can be right at the same time. Not straying from the point. Stating that this is a process that is done in multiple promotions.

Now, it is ENTIRELY possible that this doesn't pertain to you, that you're not used to the usual build. If that's the case then just say that.

I'm not the only one, and it's not an anomaly, it's something that's being talked about online and by professionals who cover wrestling. Now if this is how YOU see it then just say that. I'm not the only one who sees he's rushing things and unnecessarily so.

I also didn't discount your examples, they don't pertain to the situation. So when you said, you're not trying to make excuses for Tony, your examples are just that. WCW had some things that were quick builds, but they also long fleshed out stories. Case in point, Sting and The nWo. So no it's not what you said about the white wrestler build, because as I said before, Tony is doing this with everything. That's the issue. Burning through shit and having these dreammatches, then there's no where to go after, and wrestlers keep getting lost in the mix, and he goes and tries to find the next acquisition to do it all over again. Not how this works if you're trying to be successful

Also, I've been watching wrestling since 1986, so that "not used to" line :lol2:
