Progress has been made on the left side...hell your marking it in your other thread. Kamala will make a broad based answer because she's not trying to put off parts of the voter base she needs to get in office. ANY politician will do that hell Obama did it with gay marriage back in 2008. But I suspect if theres enough of a ground level push from the local and state level...whoever is the democrat president during the groundswell will "evolve" in their outlook once it moves to the federal level. Much like Obama with gay marriage in 2015.

Heres the thing... you need a democratic president if/when it gets to that point and you need dems in power up to that point. YOU yourself indicated this:

There was a ground-level push back when she was asked about it 2020. There's a ground-level push NOW! There is a Democratic president NOW! There are Dems in power NOW!
