Bringing science into it is not my point.

Like I stated, aliens invading Earth cuz their planet is dying has been a worn down, predictable plot since the 1950s.

Thru-out the decades, Hollywood has done the premise and successfully put spins on the alien invasion.

In the 80s on TV, “V” the mini-series did the alien invasion plot from a dying planet. The spin was they were Reptiles and they wanted humans as food

In the 90s “Independence Day” debuted, the spin was the aliens were just intergalactic scavengers hopping from planet to planet to survive.

Around 10 years ago, TNT did the alien invasion for their series “Falling Skies”. It initially looked like they were here for resources, but a twist came out mid-way during its run on who the aliens were. And then we got a final unexpected reason why they invaded which was completely original and different from anything Hollywood had done with alien invasions. (Not gonna spoil for those who haven’t seen it)

So if the main premise of this film of these aliens invading Earth cuz their planet is dying, it’s gonna kill the franchise if that’s revealed in this upcoming film.

Been there….Done that….No interest in seeing it.

V and Independence Day are both alien species migrating and using the planet for its resources.. v was the water, Independence Day our natural resources.. every alien movie basically is the same background. You’ve watched the first 2 and most likely will watch the 3rd they got you cause it’s all about execution. People will actually like this one more cause it’s a bigger showdown, a bigger scale, more deaths, and way more action.. instead of a slow burn this is finally a real invasion movie

We saw in the 2nd film that the monsters cannot swim. That can be used as a technique leading them into water.

And the 2nd film had the young girl discover they were sensitive to a certain sound/frequency. It made sense, but why didn’t the US Department of Defense, DARPA or a military contractor figure that out earlier.

I guess if they did, we wouldn’t have a movie.

Kinda hard to do a study when you running for your life from death.. humans will naturally make noise when seeing something scary, running away or hiding.. even in defense people will make noise picking up objects, shooting, etc.. so pretty much human nature got most people killed within the first week.. that’s defense, scientists, etc.. so once you got rid of them you have rogue individuals and groups..reason why in part 1 and 2 you noticed a family, some loners, a few small groups.. these are the survivors

They should do a real prequel called "Shut Up!"....Black households in the 1970s, if you were there.....then you would no problem with the other sequels to A Quiet Place 'cause you would have no problem being quiet.
 
I enjoyed the first two and I might see this one.


If I was in the movie I would of been killed before the shit started "Lets all go to the lobby" I would of been up outta there.....

But if I would of had time to think,I would of been at a gas station,inside eating and drinking good and everyday I would pour gasoline around the outside and if they come we going up in smoke.

This was actually pretty good. Never heard of the director before, but you can tell he's been studying Michael Bay a lot.
Full of suspense......i'd say about 85% of the movie is suspenseful. Within 10 mins of the opening scene, shit starts to pop off.
It didn't take long for people to realize and understand how those creatures were able to find and kill you. Still they did the
dumbest shit. You already know if its a large group of people huddled together, it only takes one of em bumping into something, a child crying,
or your pet doing something stupid to jeopardize everybody.

Lupita spent less time worrying about escaping the city, and more time focused on some shit that was totally fuckin irrelevant.
The only part that really pissed me off, was the ending. I was like what the entire fuck? I know this bitch didn't?
If that cac wouldn't have ever come around, I could see it ending a lot differently. And that cat got 9 lives like a mufucka.
Throughout the whole movie, it knew to shut the fuck up.

All in alll i give an 8 out of 10. Its something I wouldnt mind going to see again. But dammit that ending made me mad as fuck.
 
Are these movies actually any good? Real talk pls. I’ve been avoiding them since I saw the first trailer.
