I’d personally rather listen Documentary but Country Grammer to me flowed better and was more cohesive. Documentary never flowed. Production was all over the place. Nellys whole album was produced by Jay E and flowed better.
Off top Game had Cool and Dre, Kanye, Tim, Just, Hi Tek, Storch and Dr Dre. Probably the biggest producers in the game at that point. Loved the beats they gave but it made the album sound all over the place.

I have a different bar for classics to me if you not spitting and have great production you not a classic.
To me CD was close but at times Kanye lyrically would be so dumbed down. He over time I think the album has stood the test of time. Wasn’t a instant classic but became one.
