Guys you are old enough to know you have to look before you lick or stick. Even if she is not having a breakout, you still need to be cautious if you don’t really know her. My ex was having some issues with fibroids and the doctor said that she should have a hysterectomy. She declined and went vegan and the issues that she had cleared up. Come to find out, it was exacerbated by the hormones in Meats and birth control. I can't remember what the issue is (it was fibroids) but if one of y'all said I can tell you,
this is a common thing, especially with black women. They don't want us to procreate so they will say shit like you should have a hysterectomy or you're going to die

It's not just women or people or color, I've been to these doctors offices and hospitals and seen them halfway listening to what the patient is saying just trying to quickly see as many as they can. On my birthday I got a full physical blood work and all, I'm waiting for the doctor or nurse to call a few days later to tell me my results are how I'm doing these mufucas sent me a email with my results and it was just a bunch of numbers, I call the doctors office like WTF am I supposed to do with this shit I don't know what these numbers mean
Then they come back and ask for privacy
On a serious note, this is one of the truest things said on this thread. I know sistas who have received cancer misdiagnoses. Black people really, really NEED to discuss substandard medical care publicly. We can not let these things go undiscussed.
