Yea Bucher slides under the radar as a Bron hater, but he's actually worse than the Skip's, Broussard's, and Stephen A's.
Much worse. Skip is playing a role and may not be all there mentally. Stephen A is a hater and MJ dickeater. Ric is a pure hate filled insecure cac.

The replies to this news are wild— zoo visitors have more regard for the animals than so-called sports fans have for athletes.

Pop is doing the smart thing. Playing him under 30 mins a game. This team sucks so those extra 5-6 minutes to try and win meaningless games does nothing. Way too frail to be putting those heavy minutes on him. Chet is right at 30 mins a game also.

Needs to hurry and get a better team around him

Their talent level is atrocious. Half of them barely belong in the league.

You complain about it, but it's because the average person can't just drop everything and leave whenever they want.

So of course it's going to be backlash, because it's still a job.

Honestly, they are merely responding to the hate spewed from MJ era plyers and media members. A long overdue response too.

I get it and some of this “We’re done with the 90’s” is actually kind of funny but to be real, you can big up Lebron, Call him the greatest if you want but ain’t no way in hell we about to just reduce Jordan to some type of “bum”. Lebron fans forget that it was Jordan status that Lebron was chasing, not the other way around. He will always be the standard for his era and I didn’t even grow up watching him but I know not to act like he wasn’t that GUY.

Yea... public figure in a high profile sport should probably give a better announcement than that. Especially considering this looks to be a pattern. Even if he lies he can simply say "family illness" or something. Hell, use the overused "mental health".. but shit play, overpay, and coy behavior aren't gonna be met well by invested fans. GSW PR team is most at fault.

That’s the definition of crab in a barrel shit!!!

When workers have power, they should use it. Time with family is irreplaceable and we don’t even know what is going on. These hating bums need to be focused on lifting up the average person, not tearing down a young man going through legitimate turmoil and pain.

A job is just a job— lives should be prioritized. We work to live, we don’t live to work.

Ok, when you have a sick parent or family member, don't get upset when your ass still has to go to work.

and these teams really could say no, but they don't want the bad press.

Bucks aint winning against Boston without Giannis.

Great analysis

The funny shit is that @Costanza didn't whine about Ben Simmons and the treatment he's gotten the last three years.

Keep that shit consistent instead of doing the fanboy shit

Time is undefeated brother. MJ's mystique is wearing thin and in 5 years.. he will no longer be undisputed "GOAT". His sycophants are aging out of media, advanced metrics will continue to value players of this era, and the internet analysis will continue to expose the weak guard play of his era.

Its actually not. Crabs in a barrel metaphor would imply that all parties are similarly situated and one is stopping the other from advancing. That aint this.

Here we have a grossly overpaid public figure with a record of being aloof, inconsistent, and disinterested taking yet another extended leave from work while not addressing it at all and then giving a vague social media post with still no definitive information. This has been handled poorly by the player and team.

And the same public scrutiny that drives revenue is the same public interest and critique that drives this backlash. Cant have one without the other.

I love how y’all think this era of basketball is so superior when mf’s can’t even dribble without carrying or traveling, nobody plays defense and the rules were nerfed to benefit offensive production.

The only thing this era has is more athletic players but that doesn’t propel this era above any other era.

You just said you didn't see Jordan's era, now you're repeating a talking point about this era that the old Kobe Stan just posted earlier today. No Nuggets fan talks like this.
