Basically, some black folk got an issue with these Asians stepping because that what Black sororities and fraternities do and have been doing. They biting style and don’t want them to be influenced by anything that we do. Or maybe they want to them to give credit to black Greeks. I don’t know.

I leave them alone, even though I went to an HBCU and never saw other orgs than the D9. This is apparently common at PWIs. They really try to jack D9 shit but not tryna diss us, I guess. These orgs never had probates before that I heard of.
However, they seem to appreciate the D9 orgs (the non white orgs do anyway) and plenty of my younger frat brothers have smashed some of them and the Latinas as well.
I'm in a fraternity and even I can't make heads or tails of this foolishness. There are Asian women in Black sororities so the issue is what. Asian women who are in Black sororities no problem but Asian women in their own sororities who you think dance like you major problem. Like Kevin Samuels says you can't make this shit up.

I went to a PWI and their wasn’t a color on campus that was excluded from this gang life. Everyone was a part of something at that time. Why folks are acting like its exclusively one thing now, I have no idea. Asians, Hispanics, Whites, Blacks, Arabs, all had their own thing.

I'm not D9, but I grew up around them. Shit done changed during this social media era. I can barely tell the difference between the strippers and the AKA's nowadays. They both stroll to the same music and where the same outfits. Shit that used to be behind closed doors is now all on front street

Hang on .. from my severely limited understanding of Greek fraternities, didn’t black folks adopt them because the emphasis on Greek learning was considered “higher education” back in the day?

What’s weird to me be is both groups have beautiful cultural practices they could incorporate into their organizations and yet they choose to attempt to copy what we do instead. And considering that both groups are notoriously anti-Black it’s just weird imo

Fasle...they were make basically because white Frats would not let us in their orgs so we make our own. Its that simple
Fraternities and Sororities used Greek lettering so Black ones were created did the same thing.
