This was the last Extended Cut version of this film specifically made and released on Netflix back in April 2019.
I never got around to viewing it when it was released and Netflix removed it. They brought it back in October 2023 so I finally got around watching it this past week.
I originally was gonna rewatch the original film then this version, but because the original is so damn long and with me forgetting what I saw, I just went right into it.
The film is broke down into 4 episodes that run just under a hour. I looked it up and saw they added 18 minutes to the series not including credits roll and recaps at the start of episodes 2 - 4. The recap is just the last 2 minutes of the prior episode. Also while looking it up, the extra minutes supposedly just gives more in-depth development of some of the characters.
Because it’s so long, I made the decision to just watch one episode in the morning before work and I finished up this morning at home.
Not going into detail being everyone reading this has most likely seen the film. It is a good film that mainly deals with the characters interacting with each other similar to “Reservoir Dogs”.
Netflix also has the original theatrical version. I’m not sure how long they plan on keeping it up on their service. They have been removing a lot of content over the past 6 months.
