Yup...Felt compelled to send his foundation some money too....

Working with the youth is so important and he definitely doesn't have to do it...
Glad you said that. I'm gonna do the same.

Dan Campbell cost his team a trip to the Superbowl and himself a Coach of the Year award with that dumb play..the Lions haven't been talked about as Superbowl contenders in decades until this year so something really bad had to have happened for Dan Campbell to not have gotten this award :hithead:

Yeah Campbell really messed up, LOL
But speaking as a 9ers fan.......... I'm definitely not complaining ;)
But on the flip side.....
Him being aggressive & taking chances is the reason Detroit got so far in the first place
So I guess you have to take the good with the bad
He brought a winning culture back to Detroit
And since the team is still young
Lions fans can have something to be optimistic about next year

It actually reminds me of when Jim Harbaugh first coached the 49ers
He didn't take crazy chances like Dan Campbell did
But he kind of had that same "we dont care about what others say" type attitude
Harbaugh took us to the NFC Championship his 1st year (with Alex Smith)
And then took us to the Superbowl the very next year (with Kaepernick)
Detroit will be back in the playoffs again, next season, so its all good

Man I and most people can't even categorize that play as being aggressive, that was just dumb, it was the 4th quarter with like 6 minutes left your team is losing the game and in position to tie it with a FG and you say “NO WE'RE GOING FOR A TOUCHDOWN!“ :hithead:

Brittany Mahomes named 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit rookie ahead of Super Bowl LVIII

Brittany, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was named a 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit rookie and will be featured in the magazine’s 60th anniversary edition. "I never in my wildest dreams thought this would happen," Mahomes told the outlet while shooting for the issue, which comes out in May.

I was trying to be nice to Lions fans, by calling it an "aggressive move"
Yeah I don't know what the hell Dan Campbell was thinking, LOL :D
He gambled on two different 4th down plays

I can see a situation where it is only like TWO minutes left in the game
And you're playing against Pat Mahomes, or Brady in his prime, or Aaron Rogers in his prime
Okay in that situation I can see Detroit saying lets go for the kill shot touchdown
So you don't leave Mahomes/Brady/Rogers any time left for a game winning FG drive

But gawd damn, it was 7:30+ minutes left in the game, LOL
What was the point in going for it on 4th down?
That shit was crazy
Take a look at the vid I posted above
Them ninjas were already on the 30 yard line
So it would've been like a 40 yard FG
But Campbell said, fuck it.....lets bet the house & put all the chips on black 15, on the roulette wheel

In the Ravens Chiefs game the Chiefs did the same thing the Lions did on their first 4th down and I agreed with the call by both teams because they were playing really well and trying to push the lead to 3 touchdowns instead of just 17 points so to me that was a sign of being aggressive but that you're down in the 4th quarter was just being dumb. Also after the Chiefs failed on their 4th down the Chiefs offense also went cold and I feel the Chiefs were a Zay Flowers turnover from having the same ending as the Lions 49ers game..lol

Travis Kelce Says It's Costing Him a Fortune to Have Friends and Family Attend the Super Bowl

"I’m not really doing much different other than just counting how much money I’m spending on this damn Super Bowl for family and friends to come," Travis told his brother Jason Kelce during this week's episode of their podcast, New Heights (via Page Six). "Just making sure I’m on top of those finances and losing all this money."

All the people sitting in that stadium aren’t even Football fans.

Majority of them are just there cuz of free tickets won in a contest, corporate tickets, they knew a guy who knew a guy that hooked them up or they bumming off of someone who is spending big money on tickets.

Others are just there cuz they see it as a celebrity event to schoomze and kiss butt with whom ever they can get near too.
