The Tourist season 1

When a show has such a great opening action sequence like this one has,how can I not be immediately hooked. The story filled with twists and people who are not what they seem is very well written. Episode five was a bit drawn out but as a whole I really enjoyed the series. I have a couple of questions about a character but maybe they will be answered in season two.

Glad you enjoyed it, JBlaze.

Yes - that opening 10 minutes of season 1 really sets a good tone.

We just started season 2 and are 2 episodes in.

The season 2 premiere isn't the strongest. But it got back into its groove in episode 2. There's some amusing comedic moments with a character who reminded me a bit of the role Barry Keoghan played as the "simple" Dominic in Banshees of Inisherin. Also a good older villain who I hope has plenty more scenes in the remaining episodes. The side plot with the short redhead cop / investigator guy don't work that well in my opinion.

The Curse season finale

What A Long Strange Trip it has been This series about phony
"White Saviors" and their fake selfless concern was cringey and umcomfortable for the most part and such an odditiy i couldnt stop watching. It was the pull back the curtain style on reality TV. The performances from the entire cast including Emma Stone, Nathan Fielder, Benny Safdie, Barkhad Abdi and Hikmah Warsame. Also the people of Española, N.M. recognizing that they were being used and turning the tables on Asher and Whitney to benefit themselves. Was there a bit of sincerity in the characters....maybe. As the show went along it felt like Whitney was trying to seek redemption from something she was a part of with her parents.
Not really shocked the way it ended because of the surreal aura the show has had from the beginning. In the end theres a hey the world is finally seeing ME feel to it. The happiness of not having to deal with someone again.
Is a season 2 necessary? I dont think so but it would be interesting to see what they come up with

Checked out the season finale yesterday.

The plot with the "equalize the pressure" stuff was great. So comedically absurd / bizarre, but interestingly filmed and to watch. I didn't mind watching it play out for quite a long time. I kept thinking "how did they film this?" as it didn't look like your typical wire work in movies.

The stuff with the talk show at the start was deliberately cringe watching them with their fake smiles in the background being ignored by host and guest, lol.

Safdie was good with the douche / faux sincerity stuff in the final 10 minutes.

As you noted - season 2 isn't necessary, but would be interesting if they ever did one. My assumption is that this is a series finale.

CHAMPION

A brother and sister start a music rivalry, that leads to all types of betrayal,PTSD,Failed
& new relationships and more. The cast is doing a great job and im definitely tapping my feet to the
music

TED THE TV SERIES

Seth Mcfarlane hasnt lost his touch not only with the character of Ted but with his extremely funny and no filter writing. I cant believe how flawless the CGI looks in this show. Im still holding out hope The Orville will return but that's another story

Where the Fargo thread!!!!??? Don't like that the brother got killed while the neanderthal eating biscuits and drinking hot cocoa.

seems to be that way
I don’t watch too many “black” shows
But all the ones I see spotlighted in media seem to be gay
