The Homeless problem in Oakland blew up after the Occupy Oakland movement. Most of the homeless are not from Oakland, but moved here because we are so lax and provide a lot of services.
Oakland used to have a great food scene, but it really fell off during Covid. Crime is up(especially breaking into cars) which caused restaurants to close. As far as restaurants, we don’t offer much outside of Breakfast, Mexican, and Fine Dining.
Covid fucked up a lot of restaurants and lounge’s throughout America smh.. fuck you covid
