Official 2025 NFL Discussion!!!

Nah fam, I don't think thats true :dunno:

In the Browns game, it was pouring down raining
The ball was literally slipping out of Purdy's hands, multiple times
And his passes were inaccurate as hell
The weather was the major issue with the Browns/9ers game
Plus the 9ers player came in too cocky/arrogant & was bullshittin
While the Browns came in with a chip on their shoulders

In the Bengals game, the team was banged up
Purdy got a concussion the game before, against the Vikings
And that Bengals game was on a short week
People were wondering how he passed concussion protocol so fast
Christian McCaffrey was playing hurt with an oblique injury
Plus Deebo was already injured/out
And Trent Williams was already injured/out
The Ravens came in with the plan to get after Purdy. Things always seem sweet for him. Sitting back with lots of time and a clean jersey. They blitzed him a lot. They knew the 49ers would hit some plays on them, but they didn't back off.

They were committed to make it a tough day on Purdy. He was going to have to make plays while being under pressure and chased around. They wanted to see if he could do it all game.

I hear you but id encourage you to look up his numbers against the blitz
And also look up his protection numbers
He's good because he can process shit quick navigate the pocket without being scared and generally make all the throws

He ain't back there with all that time
And he can handle a blitz

What he can't have is wrs not dialed in and losing every 50/50 ball in tight coverage

And he can't have the team know what's coming
Cause nobody can have a team know what's coming and do well. Period.

1st int was his fault late on the read great play but also don't ignore he got us down there easily

2nd int on the screen They knew were coming

Batted ball and sometimes the ball literally just goes a teams way

We batted a few of Lamar passes
They did not fall into the hands of a nearby defender on the other side of the pocket
In fact 2 of them were just that

And the other was kittle not catching with his hands having it bounce off his jersey and into the air

I'm even on purdy I think he's really talented so this isn't an indictment on him the 1st absolutely is the rest just show me where a team knows what's coming and can succeed

Kyle was an arrogant ass
Run at the ravens then play action then open things up he did not only 1 time and then abandoned

This was malpractice and genius on one side and the other

Am I worried about purdy? Hell no
I'm only worried if the oc stays boneheaded when his precious plan isn't working

Kyle even admitted after the game the 1st was a terrible decision
He didn't admit the others were on him but he did say they weren't on purdy

1 game doesn't indict a QB
Ravens got up
49ers didn't match their energy in any way
None
Missed tackles
No sacks
No in the grasp
No wins on 50/50
They were completely lame
Hopefully they use that as motivation like the ravens did because of Florio

Now watch them not give a single fuck about play the dolphins

I'll say this, this is why I have zero problems with a player trying to get his because these teams will do anything to not pay a player. They'll pull a player out of the game,if they're a couple of yards short getting a bonus, bench them so they can cut them and etc.

With that said, the NFLPA have shown they have no problem bending to the owners' will. Somehow, the owners have convinced fans that the players are the bad guys when it comes to the CBA.

Hard for me to feel sorry for the players when they continue to let the owners dictate what they want.

I wasn't saying he was bad against the blitz. More like if you don't get pressure on him, you have no chance. He'll carve you up.

I still remember some of that game, LOL
So.....I guess the media is trying to drum up old shit, so the Commanders have a "chip on their shoulders" :rolleyes2:
But the only bad thing about playing the Commanders/Redskins
Is that football field, Fedex field is terrible
Hopefully none of the players get injured on Sunday :(

Seems like you're saying the blow out was a fluke

Seems like you're saying the blow out was a fluke
Blow out yes

Win no.

You can't play like we've been playing for about 3 weeks now against actually really good/great teams

The cardinals scored 29 points on the defense the week before

Fred Warner and them been missing tackles more and more since the eagles games
Legit numbers increasing by about 4 tackles a game

All of that is lack of focus and they got their ass whipped for it thinking they could just "talent" their way to wins

Offensively I keep harping on them knowing the plays because the QB we have goes through progressions quickly he isn't 1, read and go. He's multiple and best option then let it go. Not gonna bore the thread but there is a season worth of tds where the receivers and Kyle are saying it was the last read he saw it we didn't think it was possible and turned into td

My point is that he isn't afraid to fire the ball and let the wr get to the spot. Ppl say he throws to wide open ppl that's false he regularly throws them open. He releases it before they even break majority of the time.
So if he was holding onto the ball during the ravens games I have a year and a half + 2 playoff games of evidence to know it wasn't because he was scared or confused it was because it wasn't open.

Which is as I've said from Monday a testament to the ravens game plan for understanding what Kyle would like to call and do

And a testament to Kyle not having a pivot in case a team scopes out his plan. He'd been doing a good job of that so far but Monday he reverted back to the " I'm smarter" regardless shit that makes us lose championships

And he only does it in big games which makes it even more disheartening lol
