Props given for the era they play in. But He nor anybody else is going against defense like this:
Or Tony Allen type defense. Or hand checking or any of that. The NBA purposely wanted to give offensive players “space to work” and those words come from Adam Silver.
People get so upset when older players say they would average X amount of points in this era but completely disregard why they say that. The defense is soft and it’s been made that way on purpose.

Yep. He’s my favorite player and I respect him for changing the game but I literally hate it. The minute I started seeing Steph “clones” I started getting irritated. And then the NBA assisting shooters with rule changes really bugged me out. They started protecting shooters more than the dudes driving to the fucking basket. And now, we’re here. Like Steph Said, “He ain’t tell people to to take those shots”
But the NBA saw how the casual fan loved the 3 pointer and essentially made it easier for more players to get open 3’s aka “Give players more space”. Back in the day, you had to be good at creating your own space.
