I think 20 games in is a fair point to start making assessments.
Compared to last year, Jordan Poole is playing basically the same minutes (actually slightly less, 29.2 down from 30) and scoring 3.4 points less per game.
That is as surprising as anything this season. I would have confidently bet against that scenario with him healthy.
Also averaging one less assist per game and shooting is down from 45/36/93 in 2022 and 43/34/87 last year to 41/29/85. I might have expected his in-game shooting to decrease from being the top guy to guard and shooting more but, on that second factor, his shots attempted per game are down from 15.6 to 15.
Down 7% from 3 since he signed that contract is a lot. You could attribute that to not getting easy shots anymore as he did when playing with Steph and Klay but he’s down almost 8% from the line compared to when he edged Steph out for the best free throw percentage in the league in 2022.
Multiple commentators talked about him as someone who might win the scoring title this year. I think you could put together a reel of people talking about how much he would score in DC.

FUCKIN HORRIBLE...Refs have been fuckin horrible all year.
at first I didn't really want to complain about it but as I watched more games it just looked to be getting progressively worse.
Then that Clippers game we played and they let them niggas hack us like crazy then after we loss the league sent us a "my bad, folk" message I lost faith in them.
Crazy how this shit starts happening as daily fantasy explodes in popularity and we have a Vegas tournament.
