It's a great price I'm just so not used to ads anymore.

I need someone who has the hbo max ad tier to tell me how it is to watch.
My daighter wanted it so i got the plan. Watched the Meg 2 and Blue Beetle and had a few 3-30 sec commercials throughout. Started the Last of Us and only a commercial before the show but none during. So it just depends.

It may get annoying in a few weeks but right now it feels just like the Hulu and Peacock plans we have.

Thanks I got it too for the EXACT same circumstances. You were right basically Hulu level of commercials maybe LESS?
I think I can suffer with it for that price point for 6 months. I will update in a few.

BODIES

This time jumping mystery is turning into one of the most interesting and involving series i have ever watched on Netflix
The simultaneous action, very different characters and investigators trying to solve a similar mystery is so well done
Im hoping more is revealed about one particular timeline

finally got around to it...it was good ...i can overlook the plot holes

most time travel shows usually have a shit ton but this not so many ...

@TEN this up ur ally ...

If you're looking for something to watch, this series is available on Youtube. Enjoyed it back in the mid-2000s. It aired on the Showcase network in Canada, and is good for a few laughs.

2nd link has all the episodes.

Rent-a-Goalie is a half-hour comedy television series from Canada that aired on Showcase from 2006 to 2008. The first season was nominated for three Gemini Awards, including Best Comedy Series. It was also nominated for a Directors Guild of Canada Award, the CFTPA Indie Award for Best Comedy Series, an ACTRA Award for Best Male Performance for Christopher Bolton, and four Canadian Comedy Awards, winning two. The second season was nominated for six Gemini Awards, including Best Comedy Series, Best Ensemble Performance, Best Directing, Best Writing, Best Cinematography and Best Casting. It has also been nominated for three Canadian Comedy Awards.

Rent-a-Goalie revolves around the exploits of Cake (Christopher Bolton), a hockey-mad, recovered-from-everything go-to guy, who runs a rag-tag hockey goalie rental service out of Cafe Primo, a family-owned coffee shop in Toronto's Little Italy. Here, at this crazy crossroads of hockey culture and coffee culture, Cake has finally found a home. He spends his time juggling friends and enemies, the ridiculous and the profound, while always trying to live by "The Code" – an ever-evolving set of personal ethics, spiritual maxims and athletic credos that keep him on the straight and narrow.

Black Cake

I'm only 2 episodes in and it's a lot to say about this series.
Thinking we know our parents or a relative from top to bottom. Well they loved this, could cook this and came from this place and that was it but it's completely the opposite of the aforementioned.
How some people hold on to a great moment in their life when they were very young ,which was full of joy, praise and good fortune and actually think that it's going to be that way all of the time.

I am definitely liking this show

I SLEPT on this one

It's great popcorn TV

Shout out Shawn Ryan>>>>>

It is t the best series of the year but it's fun, well acted, quick when it needs to be, really good violence and a good government spy thriller

Psst Feige... you should hire this guy for your next Winter Soldier Captain America Daredevil US Agent type series or film.

This another show critics weren't impressed by that the public loved

We are officially at the point that people should AND DO for the most part

just watch what you want

Agreed. There are hundreds and hundreds of series out there. And so many sources to gather your reviews from ... friends and family, BGOL threads, sites like Rottentomatoes & Metacritic, countless entertainment podcasts and so on. So helpful in trying to figure out what MIGHT be of interest, and what probably isn't.

Compared to back in the day when we'd base many of our choices on newspaper & magazine reviews, lol.

The Meg 2 was a letdown, huh?

How much total screen time did the shark(s) get? 30 seconds or less? I watched that one in fast-forward a few months ago for less than 5 minutes.

At least the first movie had some OK popcorn movie moments, lol.

The wife wants me to get into this series and I've been holding off. I'm a fan of all things UK but this showcase so hyped I was reluctant

how do feel about the series as a whole? And how would people unfamiliar with the royals respond? Did the deal with Diana death respectfully?

My wife started watching a few years ago before me and stopped....I picked it up and started watching....she heard me laughing out loud when Churchill was making some snarky comments ( great performance by John Lithgow) she was like "Wtf are you laughing at in this dreary ass show?". she jumped back in with me and we just finished season 5.

I've never had any interest in the lives of the Royal Family but I do love historical fiction, great acting, and well done cinematography which this series does well. It definitely sparked my interests into researching certain events, gave me some more insight into all the dynamics of that family, the relationship between the Crown and the Prime Minister and the shifting demographics and political climates...Gillian Anderson did a great job as Margaret Thatcher, and the dude who played Young Prince Charles nailed all his mannerisms and speech patterns perfectly...gonna be interesting to see McNulty play him as Adult Charles.

$100 million for Guy????

Damn how much Bobby Flay gonna ask for?

The first one was fun amd felt like Jaws. This was terrible and with the ads it felt like it was made for SyFy. Plus the sharks died way too fast. The only part that made sense was the black guy saying he trained and learned to swim for the sequel.
