Yeah, if they did smaller venues like ECW did back in the day, it would make for a more intimate experience, especially if they worked on booking and the writing of their stories, but they are trying to hotshot their promotion here stateside and it just isn't working on a weekly basis.They have a poor marketing plan. I was reading how people in some cities didn't even know they were in town until the night of the event.
Also they're playing too big of arenas, they need to start running in smaller venues until they get their numbers up.
AEW is like DC to WWE's Marvel. Instead of taking their time and planning out their approach, they jump right into their super PPVs (Justice League) without fully fleshing out their wrestling universe through good storytelling, booking and weekly shows.
