Is Drake going at Pusha T extra hard??

That Charlotte track seems like he's going at Youngboy a bit. Others are speculating he's going at Kendrick on some songs. Which would track since they've been throwing subs at each other for the better part of a decade.

If he is going at Pusha it's WEAK. It's been five years, take the fucking L. Drake bowed out and wanna take potshots after? That's corny as fuck. Either battle or stfu. But this throwing rocks and hiding your hands shit is wack.

With rapping the talent is the pen. So rappers have to write their own shit. No different than the spoken word and poetry slam communities. With singers the talent is SINGING not the writing (though a lot have both skills). Same with musicians. This is super easy to understand.

You can still be a great entertainer who raps if you don't pen your bars. No one judges Dre, or Kanye. They create dope shit (but their talent is producing). But you're not an emcee (emceeing is one of the elements of hip hop) and you can't be considered for GOAT status.

Folks gotta stop trying to rewrite the rules for their faves.

That’s severely unfair. He deserves the critique he gets. This is hip hop. He considers himself “last name EVER.. first name GREATEST..” which is fine but stand on that claim. If you want the throne, you’ll have to prove it (which he’s never done) and engage when needed.

But the coward won’t out and out battle any emcee that matters. Him and his ghosts, pick and choose soft targets and throw cheap passive aggressive subliminals, and then cower when it’s time to really throw down and engage. We still waiting to hear his comeback on PUSH.

Come on now.. to say he don’t deserve the hate he gets is wild.
