Looking forward to it.
1st movie - great
2nd movie - good
* Have recommended the 1st movie to plenty of people over the years ...
I meant to post it in the movie thread...
I was thinking this might be a better tv series at this point.
I'd definitely watch. Give them more time for character development. More action scenes too.

Glad that this show is back..
that basement area
I'm surprised there aren't more serious illnesses or deaths directly related to the terrible conditions many restaurant kitchens are in.
I've had food poisoning twice in my life (in the early-2000s) and both times it was due to some mishap along the way at workplaces. Once with a Mexican stew, and another time via roast beef sandwiches & dip.
One place was serving 12 - 14 people, and the other place 20+ ... the meals themselves tasted fine, although someone involved in food prep or handling of plates, silverware, who knows what ...
And these are at places that are WELL-maintained, which is the scary thing. I.E. - industrial kitchens with plenty of stainless steel counter space / heavy-duty dishwashers that are blasting everything at HIGH heat / proper storage space & cooling (Food Safe guidelines followed) and regular cleaning throughout the day.
And still getting sick ... and you wonder about kitchens and restaurants that are in disarray ...

With our job, we are required to re-certify with Food Safe every 5 years, Non-Violent Conflict Intervention every 5, and First Aid / CPR every 3 years.
Just did my Food Safe recert in July. It was straight forward, but a good reminder about heating, handling, maintaining and cooling importance with food. I.E. - all the many times unsafe practices occur which can lead to minor or major issues.
And to think about all the businesses that fuck things up. It’s an eye-opener.
Wow! That is a lot
At the same time I'm happy these things are heavily regulated
