Make sure to keep your long-term, loyal customers happy. Stop playing hardball with them and make sure those savings and incentives are clear re: contract renewals. Too many of them still piss off people who are loyal 10, 15, 20+ years. Those are the people you want to retain. Their loyalty, good reviews & referrals to family or friends are key.
Otherwise people are apt to fuck off and find something better, or cancel entirely.
Make it worth peoples’ while to stay with your internet, TV or cellphone offerings.
It shouldn’t be a complete hassle. Thankfully have only had a few terrible experiences. Otherwise the providers have been good the past 20 - 25 years. Just make sure you have pen and paper handy to keep track of all the info you discuss over the phone. What customer loyalty perks are best, etc, lol.
