Deion Sanders offered the Colorado job- Official Colorado season thread

Man I've had some of my most fun times on Pearl Street in Boulder, Colorado may have the #1 most lit party scene of any college I've been to and I've been to my fair share
I thought the poll about Boulder being the best college party town was bullshit…

I guess not

It's definitely 1 of the best I've experienced along with Mill Ave. in Tempe for Arizona St. UT Austin is lit too with 6th st. since you also get all the Texas St. thots that drive down from San Marcos every weekend to party there. I attended a school that was in a sizable city rather than a college town so I always valued these times I got to party in these college town bubbles

Yeah I've heard UT Austin is Lit. Damn good times...

Maybe but I will take the comments directly from athletes who have played there vs. other's who have not.

I was stationed out there and played football, soccer, & basketball in Colorado for 3 years. I didn't notice any difference, and I was coming from Atlanta. Everyone's different though. I will say one thing though, the air was fresh & clean.

Nice, great insight

And folks don t understand that is all it is about. Fox... the fans.... the Merchandise. They should not sleep on Colorado St. But that Colorado vs Oregon game is going to be the prime time game of the week.
Yep it says time to be determined, Colorado been on FOX the first 2 weeks and will be on ESPN next week so that Oregon game gonna off the chain

I can't even imagine the amount of pussy getting thrown at the stars of this team by students, alumni, boosters, and the locals. I really hope that they protect themselves at all times.
I hope the coaches remind the players that unless they have an exclusive interview with a television host of the network it may be in their best interest to get to the locker room before the students and fans bum rush the field and get caught in the midst of a possible super spreader of Covid or Flu virus.

I think that is so overrated.

No offense fam, but I think you're wrong. I've never been at that elevation before, Boulder Colorado is about 5,400 ft above sea level.

But I have been to Lookout Mountain on the TN/GA border and that is about 1,800 ft above sea level....

Playing around with my younger cousins after awhile we did feel a little light headed..... I can imagine being 3X higher having a greater effect on the body/lungs.....

Recipes/ heating instructions are different for up there for a reason......if the elevation effects food differently why wouldn't the same apply to the human body?

So you were acclimated to the elevation....

According to most guides it takes days or even weeks to fully acclimate to that altitude....

Here is a guy that lived at 6K ft for years in Corado, left for 9 months and came back and tried to do a hike on a 14K mountain......and got sick.

I doubt you did all of those activities starting on your very first day there.....

Most of these teams only have a few days to try to get acclimated to that elevation, hell most Bball players may have 2 days if they're lucky......

That shit is brutal on the body/lungs

First day, of course not. I'd say maybe 6 or 7 months in.
