You also want to show other wrestling stars that you might want to court in the future, like Mercedes Mone, that you are capable of creating big moments and letting wrestlers have them.
Transitional champs are a part of the game. Toni losing the title last month was the catalyst for her character change and Saraya's face turn. You also have a reason to put Shida on the card, and Shida got her moment winning the championship in front of the fans this time.
It's up there but I still got to go with Omega/Ospreay 1 earlier this year at WrestleKingdom.

Heavy storyline finish to that match. Way too many shenanigans for my tastes but the crowd ate it up.

Overall good PPV but I preferred Forbidden Door 2 over this.

The only thing that I hope Mercedes got out of this was that the AEW women's division is the drizzling shits and she needs to stay far away from it. Stay in NJPW/Stardom.
Tyrus is and was the dirt worst. The complete opposite of of 2 Cold Scorpio when with the same type of gimmick and the same theme. Except that was a complete misuse of Scorpio, and the only benefit associated with Tyrus was that is was the gimmick that got Naomi called up (which was a shame to have that be the vehicle that got her to the main roster when she could work better than him.) Fucking Tyrus talkin bout a retirement match. Muthafuck you owe all of us money
