Fantastic stuff from Shinsuke. This is all you had to do with him in the first place. Craft a promo package, let him speak Japanese and USE SUBTITLES. It's 2023! People should be use to reading subtitles. Stop insulting the intelligence of your viewers.

Definitely need to get that streaming deal with MAX. It would be a game changer for AEW. You can really grow your fanbase. Like I said weeks ago there's a great amount of viewers who don't watch wrestling live so this makes streaming very important.

This was such a great match! I had Kenny and Will running neck and neck for wrestler of the year but now I believe Will has passed him up. He just has this ability to get the best out of each opponent he faces. Naito wasn't doing much all year then gets a MOTY candidate with Will.

I watched Raw on and off last night, decent show. The Gunther/Gable match was great. The storytelling especially well done with the count out.

I love how they're building up Gunther and the IC title. At this point Gunther seems like the only one who could dethrone Roman straight up with no shenanigans.
Agreed. And Gunther himself will be the reason he loses the IC title. His obsession of defeating Gable will do him in when they finally clash at a PPV/PLE.

He'll look as great in a loss to Gable as he would in a win.

Goddamn if true....anyone in here pick it up and if you have, are you still playing it?

They should've went with the rumors and stuck it on Gamepass. Being a throwback-style wrestling game it's a niche within a niche. And an unpolished one at that. Gamepass is filled with retro-type games of this flavor.

Shessh this was bad ...

1. The match speed isn't there

2. No fludity in any move execution.

3. I did like the Riptide counter into a DDT from Lerae but it was done at half speed.

4. Execution was sloppy on Lerae's springboard moonsault. Only caught half the target.

5. Lerae's forearm shots look like shit. No power/impact behind them. Lerae should study Giulia on how to throw meaningful forearms.

6. Closing sequence was sloppy as fuck.

7. Rhea's in-ring booking has been terrible since she became champ.

I saw a stat somewhere that counted the amount of in ring time Rhea has had in title defenses since winning at WrestleMania and it amounts to less than 40 minutes total combined...

I like LA Knight but as someone who was in college during the Attitude Era, his schtick is too similar to Austin/Rock.

Similar to how some (non 80s kids Hulkamaniacs) may have not have been fans of Hulk Hogan in the 1980s because he reminded people of Superstar Billy Graham, I feel like a segment of the wrestling population my age or older look at LA Knight in the same way.

He's just too similar to what came before him.

Yeah, he's getting crowd reactions but I just don't know how long this will last before people get tired of it.

I disagree man I think there’s an audience that raves anything that reminds them of that era. Now I’ll be honest I don’t get the hype around dude but maybe I’m just late to the party. But I do see the Rock and Stone Cold comparisons…what I do agree with though is I think ot would get stale and old if not booked right.

LA Knight doing attitude era stuff reminds me of Dean Ambrose/Jon Moxley doing his unhinged Roddy Piper/Brian Pillman lite character...yeah there are people that like that stuff, but it just comes off as a cheap knockoff of something that came before.

I have no problem with wrestlers taking a existing gimmick and building on it and making it their own (like Ric Flair) but Knight just seems like he's going through the motions doing the hits, like a cover band.

Agreed, I like LA Knight too but he's basically doing a cosplay Austin & Rock combination down to the "Yeah" chants and his version of the People's Elbow.
He's gotten over based on a catchphrase and the fact that fans are rooting for him as an underdog who "hasn't gotten his just due".

Similar to Daniel Bryan, if he were to become world champion...then what? The fans would move on to the next underdog they want to get behind.
