I got out the joint December 2005 and I was on Peoplesboard and found BGOL because of that. It tripped me out to see shit like this existed as i got locked in 1996 and the internet just started. 2006 and beyond I was broke trying to get a job I used this site to burn and and I got on in the plants and made $150k plus. But the memories of dudes that got OCK'd and Pinky and all that shit...it's almost 18yrs I've been on this board and it won't last long at this point. Technology will change.

I just wanna know what brought you here back in the day and why you still here and what you think will come of this tomorrow???

When I got on this shit in 2006 man I told everybody about it but people was like a porn board man you a pervert??? And you can barely find porn on here now

I was killing Megaupload and SendSpace and shit way back

I was a teen and it wasn't porn that got me to come here it was another messageboard that lead me to another messageboard which was hiphop but was wild,where they were exposing people,posting download links,porn,music,movies and whatever else from other messageboards sites and that is how I got here.I signed up just so I could check out the downloads and came across the messageboard and the wild shit that was being said and the characters became entertaining as hell....Ouncie,Mrnogood,sunnycracka,trashman and the rest of the gang and it felt like they all knew each other and it was a soap opera playing out on this messageboard.At first it was confusing as hell but I kept coming back on here ready and laughing at the shit,that was in 2001 I was young as shit ,Fruityloops, the Bootytalk series and Pinky.......all of that,this replaced the yahoo messager,when that burnt out

Back when the board was black and red, dial-up was the latest technology
and if you had a 1 gig hardrive you were a baller:lol:
I learened a hell of alot of stuff as a result of being here and met some real solid brothers.
The laughs and shenanigans have been unmatched.

Can't recall the exact year I signed up but it was late 90's because I remember avoiding threads that said something along the lines of "more than what 56K dial up can handle" or some shit. Just before I signed up, one of my boys from the workplace office mentioned the site but I was on the fence about registering.

Later, he was visibly bothered, shaking his head about himself, saying that he wished he didn't repeat something that a female member told him in confidence then it spilled out into the forum and morphed into what was later described as an "ocking" of someone he knew personally.

That morbid curiosity got me off the fence and signed up :lol:

and those days were fuckin nuts... members getting outted and exposed, every other week....

I remember a member got exposed for being on a racist site, and talkin about how he comes to bgol,

and pretends to be a brother, and was bragging how he gets away with it, and was encouraging others

to come here from the racist website, I think it was stormfront... bruh that dude got exposed, he left the board..

But Im sure he is still here under a different name... racist were much more upfront back then..

they all got checked hard... but I bet some of the screen names yall know and love are NOT

who you think they are.... but they are on their best behavior, because if they were not they would

get checked.. bgol is one of the few places...

I remember him buying a lambo before every hearing of anybody buying lambos with internet money...

Now these youngheads blowing up just from playing video games online...

and they said you will never amount to nothing playing video games all day,

Yea tell that to kai cenat who bought a lambo suv and his mother a house and car...

and didnt have to compromise himself....

Not sure. Maybe 02 -03. I just remember being over my homie crib and he was on here. I went home hopped on and for the 1st few times I couldn't figure out where to go to find the good shit. But once I did........ It's been on and poppin since

My best friend put me on to this board around 2000 or 2001. Seemed mad chaotic and I didn’t really care for it at first so pretty much avoided it.. was a member of another board.. than it ended.. about 07 I started using this board to promote commercial stripclub parties I was doing and the rest is history
