Skrull Rhodey basically got Nick Fury by the balls.

Skrull Rhodey must have finished the damn bottle.
That shit is impossible to find at retail unless you win the liquor lottery, or have a connect.

Secret Invasion
Episode 3 - 4

Watched these this morning.

We got confirmation that Fury knows who his wife is. And her origin story.

It’s looking like this series is giving us the origin of the Super Skrull for the MCU.

Fury has become more aware of the Skrulls plans.

2 more episodes to go. I will wait for those to debut and watch back to back.

Looking forward to them.

It's like it's ok but it should be way better. The actors and the characters are solid; but like it seems like it's just off for some reason. And it makes it more disappointing than what it really is...
For a threat that may mean the end of the world, it's mostly Nick Fury talking. Does it feel like there is a an end of the world level threat to you guys?

Expository. With a few shallow subplots thrown in. Why?

Emelia Clarke certainly. As who tho? Maybe Gravik ain't dead and returns as Super Skrull? Dunno if Coleman wants any more of this. Her screen time couldn't have been more than 10 minutes in total.

Can or will Quake show up? Colson and Hill as LMDs?

Who fucking knows? It was a pretty crappy script held together only by the superb acting of Jackson. And there were a few places where even he looked like he was confused by the script.

It definitely had its moments. Was it dull at times and do i wish it had been a bit more involving ...sure. The acting and action sequences were great. I think sometimes people think they are going to get exactly what played out in the comic book. I'm not disappointed I watched the entire series instead of giving up after episode 1 and making assumptions about how the series would play out.

The most interesting thing about this serious is when did Rhodey get hijacked lol. The series was ok, I felt it could have been alot better.
Ross too. How does this effect what happened at the end of Wakanda Forever? Was Ross a Skrull in WF? When was he taken?

First 30 minutes of this show was straight garbage!

Like the producer's 12 year old son wrote this shit. I turned it off.

These Marvel TV series spin offs are shit

Nah the TV shows have been good. This show was awful bur the others were more than solid...

The series was ok. I think all the Marvel spinoffs have been good, except for that Hawkeye one. At least the ones I've seen. I have yet to watch She Hulk or that one about the Muslim girl in HS. I'll try to watch at some point.

The acting in Invasion was on point. I thought the guy playing the villain was good, Sam Jackson was great and so was the woman playing his wife. The budget seemed small and it didn't have the feel or scope of the earth being in danger. I've never been a fan of the skrull story lines or any show that deal with shape shifters. Because it's theres always an obvious twist or gotcha moment when someone isn't who you think they are. It's almost like a cheap out or plot device to use when convenient.
