I don't have a dog in this fight, but we all know that what he says and what people are going to claim he's saying are two separate things altogether. If white people haven't already assigned him secret Muslim status, I'll be shocked.
Would like to see him debate...I mean he's a smart guy, and I'd be interested in what he would have to say about the issues the moderators ask about. I gained respect for Al Sharpton after watching him in debates during his runs.
That being said....like Sharpton, his candidacy won't have any real effect on anything. Not sure what the rules will be to make it to the debate stage, especially as a 3rd party candidate.

There are two ways to qualify for the first presidential debate.
Candidates must either meet polling or fundraising criteria. The Democratic National Committee said a maximum of 20 candidates could qualify.
In announcing new debate rules, the DNC set two potential qualification requirements for the field:
- Achieve at least 1% support in three polls from an approved list of pollsters
- Receive campaign contributions from 65,000 unique donors, including 200 donors each from 20 different states

Realistically, Dr. West doesn't have an ice cube chance in hell to get to the WH. However, it's good that he's running to raise some issues and add to the entertainment factor.
