I changed the tilting, thanks. Both and wouldn’t call it “caribbean culture“. Jamaican dancehall is on some other shit.
Shrewd also means mischievous or malicious.
shrewd: having or showing sharp powers of judgment; astute.
Kids shouldn't be there. That ain’t appropriate to do in front of kids though
Seems to be split but I see alotta folks (even Caribbean folks) saying this overly shrewd.
What say you?
Would you accept this behavior at a parade or Mardi Gras?
Exactly!Do what makes you happy .![]()
Shit is crass and primitive... but i think it has its place at carnival and adult themed festivals/parties.
That shit is not even close to "dancing"..... it's just imitating a sex act nowBoth and wouldn’t call it “caribbean culture“. Jamaican dancehall is on some other shit.
Our culture is to "take a lil whine" and keep it moving.....you always going to have someone "doing the most"From the outside looking in this has always been weird to me..
But this is their culture so I'll keep my comment to myself

sidebar: that was either a hippo or Lizzo in the background
.
You haven't been to a fete in a while or been watching clips from any cuz there's a lot of that going on.Both and wouldn’t call it “caribbean culture“. Jamaican dancehall is on some other shit.
Serious question I always wanted to ask someone. Why do they never change the beat on soca music?OP that isn't Jamaican music or a Jamaican event in your video. That's a soca fete and soca music. Artist name is Klassik Escobar. He does a lot of raunchy songs over soca beats that you'd hear from certain islands like the Virgin Islands.
Your ear isn't in tune to the music so probably all sounds the same. You don't typically find soca songs with the same beat.Serious question I always wanted to ask someone. Why do they never change the beat on soca music?
Soca & reggae music have beats call riddims where multiple artists will do a song over the same riddim. It's part of what makes the music so fun for artists and patrons alike in seeing various artists riding over the same beat with their unique style and flow.Serious question I always wanted to ask someone. Why do they never change the beat on soca music?
Never heard of this guy, was gonna say this ain't Jamaica and it's soca.OP that isn't Jamaican music or a Jamaican event in your video. That's a soca fete and soca music. That's why I made sure I pointed out a lot of his songs are over soca beats that you'd typically hear from the Virgin Islands. He's probably the most vulgar artist in the genre right now.Never heard of this guy, was gonna say this ain't Jamaica and it's soca.
When I looked up his history, he is born Jamaican, moved to and influenced by Bronx culture, so mixes soca with Spanish music so he's a hit in the Miami scene.
That's not Jamaican music.
"We of the Jamaican Dancehall Delegation do hereby declare that by the Order of SoundClash Fraternity that this song is..."

The VI heads I know stay bumping these songs and songs with similar vibes. I can't remember the names of some of the artists off the top thoughYeah this sound like Bajan soca lol.
