Argument turns into shootout between bus driver, passenger

Welp, young fella. You wanted to get off the bus, he let you off. Ya’ll gonna stop playing these games on public transportation and Popeyes chicken.

He should have opened those doors as he shot him so he could fall out. 'Next stop, hell muthafucka!"

Gotta stay on schedule tho

Drivers are only authorized to stop at listed stops. It could be a setup......

It's deemed an undesignated stop; it may put their and passenger safety at risk and put their job in jeopardy.....

Most unions would probably fight for him and say a passenger with a gun is an emergency/ extenuating circumstance,.....

But as was said earlier, a mfkr pull a gun out and you know you've got one, it's time to stand your ground and fight for your life.....

What good is protecting your job if you're dead?

Watch the footage again. The driver is holding his gun sideways which is terrible for accuracy. Case in point, a passenger caught a stray bullet even though the entire front half of the bus was empty.

The incident also caused the driver to lose control of the bus and drive on the sidewalk. Thank God there was no pedestrians in front of him.

If the driver had made an unauthorized stop I'm pretty sure the footage would have exonerated him. That's assuming a passenger even complained in the first place, which is pretty unlikely, even at the best of times.

Spraying and praying while operating a massive vehicle. What part of public safety is that?

My buddy is a driver for Septa. If you let someone off between stops and they get hit by a car, it's lawsuit time. When you let people off at bus stops, it's clearly marked as a safe zone. Signs, painted ground, sometimes a little weather proof hub.
The bus was already driving beside the curb. There is no way that the passenger could have been hit in between stops.

I hate these fucks that mess with working people.

I would love to see a gunman sue the company for getting hit by a car for being let off the bus in the wrong spot.
Funny part is he would probably win...

You know all the training companies implement is to avoid liability. Common sense isn't common when it comes to corporations doing everything they can to avoid a case.

Companies settle. They're not goint to spend tens of thousands to fight a case, when an ain't shit nigga that argues with a bus driver would be happy with 10 Gs.

Damn. Sadly the bus driver was fired according to an IG post.

White guy choked a man to death on a subway for being loud and agressive = Gets treated like a hero until people demand justice(yet to be seen if justice will be served.)

Black man defends himself against a criminal gun welding lunatic on a bus and is fired... :smh: (shocked he hasn't been arrested)

If he was a white guy he'd be hailed as a hero and be on t shirts like Kyle Rittenhouse.

There is no doubt in my mind that that thug would’ve killed him. I was listening to Sway Calloways show on Sirius XM yesterday, The Last Mile, and Earlonne Woods described a scenario similar to this when he was 17: how he would rob people and when he pulled out his gun. He had every intention of killing someone.

This isn’t the interview from yesterday interview, but this is the same guy.

So you don't think the passenger who caught a stray bullet is going to sue? If he had clipped somebody on that sidewalk he was driving on you don't think they would sue? The driver's actions created way more liability than an unauthorized stop would have.

Ironically, the shootout also turned the bus into a crime scene which meant he had to make an unauthorized stop anyway.

The CAC on the train was dead wrong, but at least his actions didn't jeopardize anyone else.

On the other hand, the driver's actions easily could have killed everyone on board, and anyone within two blocks of the bus.

IMHO, neither man is a hero and both should be in jail.

Actual fact. Dropping someone off between stops is against the rules. Still though some people will try to blame the bus driver for a failed attempt of his assassination.

If the passenger didn't have a gun he would've shut the fuck up and waited.

If the driver didn't have a gun he would've let that motherfucker off or would've just drove to the next stop with an angry passenger.

but guns aren't the problem :dunno:

I'm not familiar with this bus route, but stops in Philly are every block or two. It's a three minute walk back a street. If this was some express bus route that only stops every mile or so, I kind of get it, but dude knew that getting on the bus.

This appears to be over by the Outlets and this is by the Steele Creeke area and it's nice and GROWING area. Everytime I go over there(going there more now since Northlake is crazy) there's something new over there. There are probably more stops in that area.

Remember you too are a Cac!

Sign of the times bruh. Younger people always got the strap and don't respect the power they really have in their holsters. Too many think it's the accessory to have for the "I'm tough" costume. The lil nigga in the clip brought the tool out on some look what I got so you need to watch how you speaking to me shit. Nigga that's exactly how dudes lose their life!!! Fuck wrong with you??? You don't pull unless you're ready to kill. That's all and that's it. Not to show off, not to flex, or scare someone. But that's how they are nowadays. Niggas pull the gun out at a stop light cause they got cutoff type shit. :smh:
it's the video games maaaan, i'm telling you. i call these lil niggas the call-of-duty generation. i theorize that there is a detachment from reality for this particular generation of kids due to them playing ultra realistic video games like Call of duty. the shit is so realistic that their little minds can't comprehend the finality of death and that unlike in video games, the person doesn't respawn.

Hello everyone,
This is the daughter of the bus driver, David Fullard.
I am coming to you worldwide to share with you all the tragedy that not only has my father been through, but also other bus drivers worldwide who deal with simliar experiences. As some of you may not know, my father David Fullard has been working for his job for nearly two decades without no problem or trouble with the company. My dad has unfortunatley been terminated from the job with NO PAY! Although, my father had not only got fired for following the rules and regulations of his job (not to make unsafe stops or drop passengers off at thier designated stops), he also got fired for protecting himself. If it wasn't for him protecting himself my father probably would be dead. These situations with drivers not having secerity and being involved in unsafe situations has been happening for years not only at his job company but to other bus drivers all over the world! These funds will not only help with my fathers recovery but, will also help him be at ease as his family is being provided for.
Be the first to make a change and be the voice for other bus drivers to feel safe at work!
