Vitamin B12 Effects

Been suffering from being lethargic for a while even with exercises and eating good but after taking Vit B12 wifey's advice, the situation improved. Used to doze off during meetings but I notice I don't do that any more. Anyone experienced that?
Age?

Bruh throw some ginseng in the mix, if you REALLY want to change the midlife game,

take a Ginseng and some Foti... then add a nice little workout routine at least three times

a week..

GAME CHANGER...!!!! and you WILL BE A BEDROOM BULLY in less than month if you

are focused enough to put your health first!!!

RNS!!!

My pops had a blood panel done last week. They said all looked good, just needed to bring up his B12 so he’s been supplementing now. He has lost just under 15lbs in recent months. Waiting for a call on knee replacement surgery at some point.

Good news everything looks good for yo pa Dukes... tell him to throw some ginseng in the mix,

but was your father an avid driver.

Im noticing a lot of men and women who spend many a years driving, seem to develop some kind

of leg or hip issues when they start to hit thier fifties.. I noticed dudes that worked out and rode bikes

in addition to driving dont have those same issues...

if yo pops can the best thing to do after that surgery is to slowly but surely try to walk as much

as he can handle.. Also swimming is excellent for the joints...

shout out to yo pops HFUNK!!

Thank you.

His health has been relatively good, all things considered. Turned 76 this year. The knee issues relate to arthritis and old sports injuries from decades ago. Some running back in the day. He looks forward to having better mobility and less pain / more incentive to walk in the future. He is reassured hearing the success stories from peers his age re: knees, hips, etc.

My mom broke her hip in late-Aug 2020. Fortunately she leads a more active lifestyle and made a full recovery. Really scared me though - 6 months into pandemic and right before her 70th bday.

Ok..get your complete blood work up. As a matter of fact, a complete physical won't hurt. I was here at one time..

10 Vitamin D Deficiency Symptoms

Symptom #2: Fatigue And Lethargy
While there are certainly a wide range of problems that can lead someone to experiencing chronic fatigue, vitamin D deficiency is among the most common. Unfortunately, it's often overlooked as a causative factor and many people attempt to treat their fatigue in other ways before simply increasing their vitamin D intake.

Yes...

Upgraded vitamins to complete multivitamins...included iron supplements several days a week and added more cardio workouts

LOL I FEEL ya bruh.. but a workout could be just taking a nice walk after eating.....

using the stairs instead of the elevator/escalator... you can watch tv and try and do One push up

every commercial.. I promise you.. if you do that. get back into push ups.. its a game changer..

they want us to THINK we cant control aging and thats bullshit we are in full control of how we age

just by making the right choices that benefit us...

Im not going to even mention fasting once a year...

YET.... that shit will take you to another level..

oh and when they say an apple a day keeps the doctor away,

they aint lying.. apples are a slept on superfood.. I mean REAL apples,

not that waxy bland bullshit...

hey I havent gone running for a minute.. I drank my apple parsely celery ginger juice..

and was huffin and puffin down the road.. now a day later.. I feel like I added ten years to my

life...

Nothing like INVESTING IN YO SELF BRUH!!

hey the weather is getting nice and bike riding is where its at...

my legs and back feel so good the next day after bike riding..

make workin out fun... Bruh!!

the work out part gets the blood pumpin and gets those supplements moving

through your body, so you dont just piss out most of it.. let that shit sweat out your body

for maximum benefits

Could be that the meeting's boring.

Even if I'm not tired of a meeting's boring it's a wrap.

And don't let it be some type of presentation because I'm nice the lights go off I

This is coming from a guy that took many vitamins for years.

Taking pills to get your daily dose does a number on your kidneys, and liver. It's not noticeable when you are young but it is when you get older.

Try and get your vitamins from the foods you eat rather then pills you take. Even protein powder is a no go. It's better to get your protein from food, and by food I mean meat, poultry, and dark greens.

Your kidneys and liver will thank me.

Daily walk around your community. Then start picking up the pace, when you get bored. A few jumping jacks, push ups and situps or buy some bands.

Just don't eat crazy afterwards cause your metabolism will start to change.

Resistance bands are the truth. Bought a few from the sports store. Great for creating exercises for different muscle groups.

I first was introduced to them in my teens. My mom used to work in a medical clinic. They had excess medical tubes available and she asked if she could bring some home. I used those for makeshift curls, raises and military presses in my mid-teens to get a workout going before going to spring / summer pick-up games at the local court.

Yeah I def wonder about that. I try to get most of my vitamins from food but I just can't eat enough to meet my protein intake so I supplement with a homemade smoothie. I try to use the most basic protein powder like Naked Protein where I actually know all of the ingredients (I think there's only 5).

Interesting about your liver and it's ability to store B12. Certain animals like Orcas will kill a shark and only eat it's liver for the energy impacts.

Think I'm going to try this and see how it works. I think I'm taking too much stuff, but to the other poster, it's hard to get all of that food in, but I'm going to cut back.

Yeah same here...I take alot of supplements each day so I might need to cut back too...Maybe or rotate or something...

How did you notice the negative impact of pills?
