This is why when the writer strike is over they need to hire a lot of Black people / people of color. White Hollywood has ran into a damn wall with originality thinking. They should take cues from the Black Panther franchise, and Abbott Elementary.
Its actually the perfect time for Black Independents to carve out a corner of the market. Hollywood is obviously dying the only thing keeping hollywood alive is superheroes and biopic movies. Streaming platform is winning. Forget waiting to be hired, write it and find a studio to create it and let Hollywood beg for it then set your price.

There’s still a lot of creativity out. There is just main stream. Media is not messing with it just that is a lot of good music out there, but they play bullshit on the terrestrial radio stations.
