I was talking about this with Emmett Till, going to a white business in the South to buy candy just hanging out playing checkers.
Come on now, there aren't even the basic simple black businesses in these areas. You mean to tell me, we can't fry chicken or cook hamburgers to sell? What about a basic grocery store with a few items, you don't need an Amazon type of store. What about home building?
It is no wonder that a black athlete, entertainer, buys these white owned companies when they can start their own. This is a red flag. They get upset and the next thing you know, somebody is trying to kill them.
Many of these fools will spends days chasing me up and down the street but can't muster the energy to build something like this.

Around Fort Campbell, KY (mainly Hopkinsville) was a case study in abject poverty, failure and desperation in the early 90s. We used to ride to Evansville, Indiana to meet up with chicks and it looked the same. Sad, really.

Yup I told people even the worst hood in Atlanta looks 10 times better than some parts of Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana. And I don’t even get me started on West Virginia that’s a whole other topic.

I looked up who owned a few blocks here in Raleigh on New Bern Avenue. Most of the commercial properties were owned by whites for generations. The deeds were passed down to their family members. Most of the properties were built or brought in the early 60's. I personally know a slumlord (he's Indian or Pakistani) he has over 100 properties in the hood and they all are falling apart.

It's not about what communities look the worse by why our communities do and that's because of the system and laws put in place that give white people the advantage to make money off of doing intentional things so they can create wealth for their families and again making it 100x's harder for blacks to own anything in their own communities.

I actually have a business plan that would help black communities, but it would take a shitload of capital in order to execute it. Aside from winning the lottery, I don't know how in the hell I can get that thing off the ground

Most of you don't live in the hood, I don't pack up and leave the minute I hear gun play. I have a perspective that most of you don't have since you live in a majority white suburb in Atlanta such as Buckhead.
The private sector should have been hounding this guy to buy his properties for their black business. Since this doesn't take place, he was able to creep with this eminent domain garbage.

If the neighborhood looks better, people will start to feel better about it. Once people start to feel better about it people will start doing better.

I'm having to call the city every other month because someone started dumping trash at various times in the alley behind the houses on our street. I don't think it's my neighbors, but it's definitely an eyesore. It's not usually right at my house, but several months ago, someone did dump trash in the bed of my brothers truck.
Its always some shit. How come we’re just finding out this shit.
