I'm a fan of Juice in the ring, but his voice mixed with delivery makes me wanna never hear him speak.

And there is a reason to have extra refs during spot heavy matches to be the eyes and ears wrestlers don't have during high risk spots.

And I know it's taken a while to get the Black and Crew situated, but man are they wasting time with all 4 of them healthy and having them just be *"cool entrance fodder".

They look too imposing to not be major threat across all shows. Just like Finn and Judgement day, somebody is gonna need a major title on that group soon.

We need to do have a heel hierarchy in place so we can see who needs to be doing what.

TK needs to stop booking these kind of matches. These women can barely execute a regular wrestling match right yet we're putting them in a hardcore street fight with table spots.
Yes. I think TK knows that the majority of the women can't work so he puts them in hardcore movies to cover their flaws without factoring in that it a little bit of their weaknesses but makes it more likely that they're going to fuck themselves or each other up

This was another good show this week of AEW Dynamite!!...The LA crowd was packed and mad hype!!..Man, that Danielson vs Konosuke Takeshita was mad good!!.. ...Also, that Mox vs Hangman match was good as well...I like how the crowd got hype when Adam Cole came out!!...That Elite vs Death Triangle match was good!!..I knew The Elite was going to win those trios tag team belts back!!...That's why they had that 4 out of 7 series so they can find a way to put those belts back on The Elite!!..(I hope The House of Black come and take those belts off of them soon..)

Overall, it was a another good show!!...

The Good And Bad Of Rampage ...

The Good
Juice Robinson vs. Darby Allin
(This was pretty good. Juice has come a long way. I didn't care for him at first but he's developed into a solid worker and I love his rock hard gimmick. This had a nice finishing sequence as Darby countered a scorpion death drop from the top rope which led to a coffin drop for the win. Looking forward to seeing more out of Juice in the future. Have him form a Bullet Club faction in AEW.)

The Bad
The Acclimated segment
(Too WWEish for my tastes. Yes the Acclaimed are over but I roll my eyes at this silly shit.)

King Of The Black Throne vs. Eddie Kingston & Ortiz (This went on far too long. House of black need to be dominating people not being reduced to using shenanigans to win a match. TK already dropping the ball again.)

Willow & Ruby Soho vs. Anna Jay & Tay Melo (A sloppy mess with horrible selling and a dangerous botch from Willow. Please don't book this shit again TK.)

Swerve promo (Yawn)

Paul Walter Hauser/Danhausen/Jeff Jarrett/Jay Lethal segment (colossal waste of time.. It's mind-boggling to me how Jeff Jarrett is still getting all this TV time.)

Overall I wasn't feeling this episode of Rampage at all.

I need to go back and watch Rampage!!...

Lineup for next week's Dynamite. Looks good but very predictable. The only match that could go either way is the Willow/Toni Storm match.

The GOATS of Women's Professional Wrestling. Man this was a lot of fun when I first watched it in the late 90's. I remember popping in the VHS tape and watching this match over and over again. They had such a great rivalry. This is just a highlight clip but you got to watch the whole match to get a sense of the the storytelling and drama that led to each spot. This ranks up there as one of my top three women's matches of all time. Easily.

D.O.A....Director of Authority?

More like Dead On Arrival.

I would love for Impact to be successful but this ain't it...how are they still in business? "How Sway?"
The owners have their own network, low overhead and I read somewhere they do decent business (TV content wise) in other countries.

Well shit. Looks like the Snow Plow but brutal.

Here's another one from when Akira and Bull Nakano we're on WCW Nitro against Cutie Suzuki and Mayumi Ozaki.

For a little history around this time ('95) WCW was testing the waters on whether or not they wanted a women's division so they would bring over Joshi talent from promotions like All Japan and GAEA to generate interest. American women's wrestling was dog shit but you did have some bright spots like Medusa who made a name for herself in promotions like AWA and WWE.

A year later WCW decided to move forward with the division so they formed a joint venture with GAEA who supplied most of the women talent. They had a eight women tournament the crown the first ever WCW women's world champion. Akira Hokuto defeated Medusa in the finals. Akira held the title for 5 months before vacating it as she moved back to Japan. The division only lasted a little over a year before WCW decided to ditch it.

They're definitely not ready for that. Nobody's paying to see an all women's AEW show unless every woman is wrestling in a thong bikini. I know that's a chauvinist thing to say but there's just no value in the AEW women's division outside of five to six good workers.
