Rapper Gunna free... for now...

Easy decision for "GunnaTell", give a speech to smash female instead of male cheeks.

I am not an attorney, but my understanding of an Alford Plea is that you don't admit guilt but generally acknowledge that the prosecution may have enough evidence against you to get a conviction. Aside from getting out of jail, I don't understand the upside to pleading guilty to RICO. He now has a felony record, so regular employment will be difficult, he is labelled a snitch, and his music career is over. In terms of the cooperation part, an Alford Plea is negotiated just like any other plea agreement. By pleading guilty to RICO, he damn sure emptied the drum magazine into one of the defense's major arguments: YSL is a record label, not a gang. If he agreed to testify truthfully to the questions asked by the prosecution during trial, he agreed to snitch in the future too.

Why do yall keep saying this?

The only people that won't work with him are those who live stupidly and die stupidly by the "no snitchin" culture and that's becoming a thing of the past.

Gunna us popular enough to maintain a large portion of his fan base and artist like the ones from Cactus Jack and many others who don't push that gang or drill music will still work with him.

It may actually be a good chance for him to do a rebranding.

They talking about giving you 5 years, they call what you did mutiny.

That gun ain't mine.

We know that CJ, We changed the charge on you this morning.

I've waited a long time for you boy but I got you

I don't listen to Gunna, I came up during the 90s. My assumption is that his demographic is 15 to 25 maybe 30, but I could be wrong. Honestly even my definition of snitching is different. If you and I do a crime and I get caught, but you get away and I still give you up to get a lighter sentence, that is snitching to me. Today, it seems like some people will say you are snitching if you see a child get shot and provide the police with information. The "No Snitching" seems very important to what I believe his demo to be, but I could be wrong.

It’s fucking ridiculous that you have some dumb asses that think the hood = Black. I always wanted to live in the suburbs growing up, who wants to worry about stupid shit daily? I honestly blame rap music and all the trash hood movies that have come out over the years that glorified poverty as some badge of honor. If you go to well-off Black suburbs you still have idiots trying to be hood when they never lived there a day in they life. Look at J Princes private school sheltered suburban fake thug kids.

I hate EVERYTHING about this

No matter what it's young black folk suffering and potentially losing careers, reputations, millions and maybe their freedom.

As sad as it is or how you may feel, you can't change the choices people make.

We are talking about people that got bread. Millions of dollars still out acting like they struggling and this is a way of life. They're rep and cred street cred means more than they're accomplishments.

This the mentality of this generation, and what makes it even worse, is that street cred only good until they get jammed up

From my understanding Gunna has always stood on, it was all music for him. He said shit in his bars, butbhe wasn't really "outside" acting up. Thugga and the other mfkrs was really doing dirt.

So if I sign to a label, in hopes of reaching fame and wealth, and the label head/ co-CEO starts wiling out....is it really switching to say that "mfkr was really shooting guns and selling drugs
...etc and I was just trying to make music"
Especially when the D.A. says something to theneffect of, "we already have 300 witnesses. We got him, the only question is do you want to do time with him or go home?"

Snitch supposed to only apply to street niggas that gets caught and yeah Snitch lol. Civilians ARE NOT snitches though ignorant niggas like to apply it to everyone

I'm not condemning him. However, from my understanding Gunna may have been aware of what YSL was about and potentially profited from his affliction with them. Now if he really didn't know what it was, I could understand it. However, he moved forward with his career knowing YSL history and potentially knew of some of the illegal things, but still choose to move forward with them until the arrest. I would have snitched too if I was in his situation but he doesn't seem to be a victim of circumstance. He chose to hang around criminals to my knowledge. Plus its a RICO case so he could have just let someone use his car for a crime and that is enough to use against him. Part of the purpose of a RICO is to get non criminals to snitch, the low level person to snitch on the real target or the criminal to attempt to protect the non criminal by taking a deal hopefully without a trail. He was good with them when he was eating of the YSL name so it could be argued he shouldn't have snitched.

Gunna to the world's knowledge has not given any real details allegedly. However, he technically did snitch. Even if all he did was say YSL is a gang and it's clearly is known, he basically confirmed it for the court/future jury and it means more coming from an alleged YSL member. Assuming they were going that route, Thug can't say YSL is just entertainment now. Gunna literally gave them information that could be used against YSL in court.

Because it's a RICO case Gunna kind of fucked Thug. Someone can correct me if im wrong but Thug isn't necessarily being charged for criminal acts himself. He is mostly being charged for giving orders and providing the resources to carry out crimes. The entire purpose of a RICO is to arrest people who are hands off and taking part in a criminal enterprise. Unless Thug talked with Gunna and or other YSL members, I don't get why Thugs sister is defending Gunna. Does Gunna and Thug even have the same lawyer?

How you gone plead the “fif” after saying we gang gang? Lol This nigga basically saying I ain’t gone say nothing after that.
Do you know how you sometimes don’t eat garbage around Thanksgiving because you’re saving your energy for the good stuff? Maybe he’s saving his talking for his Super Bowl.
