the bad thing is that it's framed as if he's helping people getting out of jail. he didn't mention that in the press release that there is no one currently in prison, conveniently left out. That's what most people assumed it was.

Literally the second tweet said it was for prior offenses, people who may have problems finding housing and employment. He never said anyone would be released. I don't recall anyone in this thread saying x number of people would be released. It sounds like a) a bunch of people heard/assumed one thing and realized it was another or b) people just looking to bitch about something the dems do.
This is going to affect the state level. We already have candidates committing to pardons and legalization. Most likely this will cause current governors to commit to the same thing, or try to use marijuana use to scare voters where hopefully they get voted out when their time comes.
You seem to be looking for a reason to be mad.
