He had no choice, but to campaign for her but he didn’t like her. Bernie Sanders campaign in 2016 was racist. It was basically a Republican campaign with a big smile on their face. I didn't quote you because of your stance on Bernie, I quoted you because of the comments on Marijuana. I only did a search because I know this is something several members had mentioned in the past, and I wanted to see if you had mentioned being for legalization or not.
If decriminalization was something you were for, then this should be hailed as a first step. I guess you were for it 6 years ago, but not now. I don't think Bernie is a racist, I think he is just a white man who had not had to deal with or give deep thought to issues affecting black folks. Vermont is like 3% black, and they lock up as many as they can. He never had to consider black issues.
He had a good economic message, but fell short because he didn't take race and racism in to account. Instead of taking counsel and growing, he doubled down. Eventually he got there on the rhetoric and started saying the right things thanks to folks like Killer Mike, but you could tell he wasn't speaking his true convictions.
He's like any other white person who doesn't have to deal with racism. It's not malicious, but they can tune it out because it doesn't affect them and he didn't want to really address it because it got in the way of the message and agenda he had settled on. He saw it as a hurdle and treated the topic as a disruption or a nuisance.
Many of his supporters WERE racist as hell tho. They targeted black activists and influencers, and I even had one come for me once even tho i mainly mind my own business. They disrespected John Lewis and other black elders and said black folks were on the dem plantation, trying to trigger folks. It was brought to his attention and he did not try to rein them in and then wanted to act like he wasn't going to concede. I blame him partially for folks not coming together sooner and better after the primary.
That would go against the plan. Now, the money class needs more people out to work and spending money to go further into debt.

i never said I wasn't for it. But my state already had it so it became a non issue. This is just catching up to the rest of the country. This is no big deal to me, personally, but I do see how it helps others. The timing is strange.
So something you said 6 years ago is irrelevant, but what Biden or someone said in the 70's or 80's is supposed to still define them today? I agree people can evolve and change, I have and hope to continue to do so, but you seem to have one standard for yourself and another for everyone else.
