Official 2025 NFL Discussion preseason edition!!!

You see, there are actual teams worse than your squad.
My Beloved BEARS are dumpster garbage with the playbook and
lack of talent.
The lack of talent is certainly affecting the playbook. Poles needs to trade for a WR or something cause this ain't it. Unless Nykeal Harry can suddenly start making the contested catches that he made regularly at ASU. Mooney can't do shit when every team knows that he's pretty much the only option the team has downfield.

Another fuckin loss. :smh:

Hopefullly Harry being a bigger target will make the OC and JF more comfortable at least TRYING to throw some 50/50 balls. Especially in the RZ. It blows my mind that they don't use Kmet more inside of the 20. And those TE screens called today were Nagy-esque :smh:

I get throwing Kmet some screens since he is good once the ball is in his hands. He's got a nasty stiff arm. I was wondering if they were going to use Velus Jones to run some of those short push passes but I guess with his hamstring that's still not much of an option.
On the brightside the team doesn't need to win anyway. We need high draft picks to bring some talent particularly at WR and a stud DT even if that means Poles pulls the same shit he did this year and trade down, stack a bunch of picks and have so many young guys in that someone has to step up and make an impact.
And get that TE Darnell Washington from Georgia in the 3rd round or so if he's available. He's at least such a good blocker that it'll be like having another lineman out there on top of him catching some passes

One of the reasons they dont use Kmet. He is a shitty route runner
and he isnt physical enough to get separations against LBs or SS.

You ever see his footwork, he runs his routes like he is running in
wet cement/quicksand.

I didn't see the Bears game so I need to ask this. Were all those sacks on Fields coverage sacks or was the Giants front seven that good today?

Lions still suck record wise. But at least they entertain. If Goff leads the league im TDs and has a losing record I wouldn't be surprised or mad.

Giants lead the league in blitzes, Bears have an awful OC.

Most teams don't have the running attack and run schemes, like Cowboys and Eagles, to counter it.
