I haven't watch BTE in months but I'll be watching today. Hopefully Cutler got some good footage on the supposed fight.
For the wrong reasons but even bad news is going to get them another million for Dynamite.
Depends on what you consider successful and long term. There are plenty of promotions making profit and have been running for years.Wow, what a shitshow AEW is turning into. Feels like it's imploding before our eyes. TK seems like he's way over his head at this point.
There's a reason why almost every wrestling company outside of WWE isn't successful long term.
There's so many egos to keep in check. Running a wrestling company takes more than having money and being a fan.

I agree. With this Colt Cabana shit, Punk has shown that he can dish it but can't take it.
Punk is the reason people are so in love with these work-shoot promos and airing out grievences on the air. But now that he has something people can shoot on him about and the gun's pointed at him, now it's unprofessional and shouldn't be done. Now Kingston and MJF are pricks because they do the same thing.
Everybody saw that TK took Colt off of TV and was going to fire him just to appease Punk. It wasn't a coincedence he just disappeared after Punk came in. Punk may or may not have asked for it, but he damn sure didn't stop him, the Bucks did. If he was so concerned about how that would make him look, instead of being indifferent about it, he should've told TK not to do it, just keep us seperated.
Because he didn't, now he has ammo against him and it bothers the shit out of him.
Hangman simply alluded to it, I'd say it even went over most people's heads.
In that promo, Hangman said that if he were to cut a pipebomb against Punk, he implied that TK would likely show favoritism towards Punk and fire him (like Colt Cabana). But that's not the reason he won't do a pipebomb, he won't do a pipebomb because that's what Punk would do - and he's right. If anybody else had that type of ammo on them, Punk would've used it and probably nothing would've happened to Punk.
And sure enough, Punk got in his feelings, got triggered not by a question, but because he knew of the reporter having some ancient history with Colt Cabana and went off at a scrum, and now he looks like the biggest prick that he always was.
If he's still that butthurt about Colt Cabana, he shouldn't have came back.
Now Tony has to choose between his business partners or his biggest money maker, and he needs to choose the Elite.
Jim Ross put it best you can't let the inmates run the Asylum when it comes to wrestling cause you are asking for failure. They have people that can step into that roll but, you also have to have a boss that has to put friendship on the back burn when it comes to business. TK needs to build a real team of executives soon because HHH is playing a different game then Vince and people are ready to go back to WWE, say what you will about him but, Cody should have been a big wake up call for TK.That one person is your world champion and he's shooting on a previous world champion and fist-fighting with the EVPs.
This is more than a minor dustup.
I'm all for shaking shit up and disturbing the status quo if they can make a compelling angle out of it.
If it's not an angle, which it appears it's not, then there's serious issues backstage that need to be handled immediately.
That's why you need locker room leaders (like the Undertaker, etc.) that will put people in check when they get out of line.

Controversy sells!
Ask the folks in charge of WCW if controversy created cash towards the end of its run prior to WWE buying them out.My motto for life

TK is really in a tight spot. If he lets the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega leave, Triple H will scoop them right up which might not be a death blow to AEW but it won't help, especially since WWE is trending upwards....
There is pretty much ZERO possibility of Punk going back to WWE if he is released.....
Decisions TK.
Yeah, the ball is in his court but I would be highly surprised if Punk apologizes to the locker room. It just doesn't seem like his style.According to the new report it's on Punk to make it right with everybody in the locker room or he's gone. TK is siding with The Elite as he should as they're the ones who help build AEW in the first place.
Name them, please. In this country. And don't say TNA/Impact. LOLDepends on what you consider successful and long term. There are plenty of promotions making profit and have been running for years.
Schiavone was with WCW when Hogan, Hall and Nash buried the locker room so he knows what chaos looks like. Schiavone the right hand man.

Dead...LMAO, Schiavone is the ultimate "yes man" and will just tell TK whatever he wants to hear.
The only experience Schiavone has is seeing another promotion go down in flames.
That's why I asked what do you consider successful, because they still pull a profit and have been around for 20 years. MLW has been around for 20 years and is still profitable. Technically the NWA is till operating too. Obviously none of these are on the same level of WWE.Name them, please. In this country. And don't say TNA/Impact. LOL
Easy. He's not being let go because he draws money and TK is paying him a lot of money.
So let me get this straight. You expected Punk to step in and prevent Colt (a guy he dislikes) from getting fired?
Colt was going to be let go because he doesn't draw any money, not because Punk wanted him gone.
TK probably thought he was doing Punk a favor by letting him go.
The only people butt hurt about Punk not being fired are the ones who have never drawn money in the wrestling business.

After listening to Jim Cornette’s recent podcast regarding the issues with CM Punk and AEW it’s sounds like Punks frustrations are valid.
