Interesting. I encounter this when debating conservatives that believe misinformation without any proof, because the algorithm and "two truths and a lie" has lead them down a path of complete anti-intellectualism. Instead of calling them dumb, I mention the algorithm and get them to agree that people are fed things that confirm their bias. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but insulting someone will never help you get through to them.

I was out til 3am drinking and had a brunch with my parents(that I set up, so it wasn't a surprised), and I was bombed because I got up an hour before the reservation and starting doing hair of the dogs.
