i got a feeling we'll see her again-probably in the gene takovic timeline finale
we're finally here in the BB timeline-the pieces are in place now
man gilligan and gould should give a masterclass to the rest of the writers in hollywood
Yep, it's the best TV show out right now and it's not even close. The storylines and music scores are done to perfection. So should their music supervisor. They know exactly the right music to put in at the right scene. Even if it's something that would never seem to work. They end up being the best ones.
The only person that's even in the ballpark is whoever does songs for Tarantino movies

I loved the music they played at the beginning of last night's episode and Journey's "Any Way You Want It" during the transition scene where Jimmy truly becomes Saul Goodman where he's banging the hooker in his mansion.
I hope we get some closure as to what becomes of Kim. I was worried she would get caught up and get killed at some point.
I never thought that. She's been loyal to Jimmy throughout, clearly to a fault. That's surprised me.
I thought for sure Kim was going to double cross Jimmy and become the new antagonist.
damn, did not expect Lalo to die so quick. what they gonna do with the other 5 episodes? Brian Cranston and Aaron Paul supposedly will return.
The "it wasnt me, it was Ignacio" line was said for the first time chronologically. But even Saul/Jimmy is smart enough to know Lalo is dead, so not sure why he said it in Breaking Bad.
was that Kuby opening up the gate?
Yep, that's the answer. For all Saul knows Lalo is still alive. Saul has been told before that Lalo was dead, only for him to pop up again.Mike never told Saul and Kim that Lalo is dead. I don't remember it, but he said something along the lines of he's not coming back. Which could mean anything.
Yep. At that point Jimmy's like "fuck these hoes" and literally starts fucking these hoes. LOLMayne that hardest shit to watch after all these episodes of Saul and Breaking Bad was watching Kim and Jimmy break up. Shit was heartbreaking and officially the catalyst of the death of Jimmy and full transformation to Saul.
I never thought that. She's been loyal to Jimmy throughout, clearly to a fault.
She liked pulling pranks and scams (to an extent), but seeing Howard get shot right in front of her (partly because of her prank) was too much to handle.
Just like the title of last night's episode, it's all "Fun and Games" until someone gets hurt.

Maybe so, but Jimmy was a shitty husband.
First she gets demoted at HHM because of shenanigans he was pulling on the sandpiper case. Jeopardizes her reputation and her only solo client because of a feud Jimmy had with his brother.
He conned her to get his license reinstated. Conned her on the Mesa Verde case. Leaves the house wearing a cheap tracksuit and comes home beaten bloody with no money. Does a job for the cartel and come home two days later with no call, no car, a massive sunburn, and bullet holes in his coffee mug.
Because of that association strange people are following her everywhere she goes and interfering with her job. Eventually it gets an associate of hers killed. Now she's driving down the street with a loaded pistol ready to blow a stranger's brains out.
If that wasn't bad enough Jimmy is such a complete sociopath he had to fake remorse for his brother's death just to get his law license back.
Finally, Jimmy is TERRIBLE with money.
The beginning of the show takes place in the early 2000 and he's representing public defender clients at $700 a pop. Yet somehow he can only afford to live out of an office/closet above a nail salon and drive a $300 car despite living in one of America's cheapest cities.
He gets his first windfall from the Kettleman case and blows it on a hairbrained promotion scheme that makes him less money then the public defender cases did.
Later he gets a corporate job and blows the entire bonus on a $5,000 desk.
Meanwhile Kim is probably making six figures as a corporate lawyer. But because of Jimmy's expensive schemes she's only able to afford a modest one bedroom apartment.
He completely ruined her life and killed all of her dreams. I can't understand why she stayed as long as she did.
The flashbacks to her as a child kind of explained why she's loyal to people to who are bad for her, like her own mother.Maybe so, but Jimmy was a shitty husband.

Jimmy was always Saul. Losing Kim just made him drop the pretense.
most of that applicable until this season and we learn more about Kim & her attraction to Jimmy
Jimmy is a fuck up and chaos agent but he has always been looking for someone to love him and bring the best out of him
he wanted to chuck to love him and respect but obviously that didnt work
he thought it was Kim but based on her upbringing (mom was a scammer & dad alchol) she was attracted to Jimmy and brought the worse him too
she was the one that wanted to get Howard even though she numerous oppurunities to back out and Jimmy tried calling it off
there was a reason why they only seemed to be intimate after pulling a prank or succeeding in another step of the Howard con. She was aroused by that shit.
she admitted to Jimmy she aint tell about Lalo cause she wanted to go head with the Howard con
she is no angel and just as responsible for everything if not more than Jimmy
she was right they bring out the worse in each other and everyone else pays
she wanted out
The only reason Howard died was because of Jimmy messing with the cartel. Without that connection Howard would have rebuilt his reputation and gone along with his life.
Kim's mother seemed dysfunctional but I wouldn't call her a scam artist. Just someone who did what she had to do to make sure her daughter's future wasn't completely ruined by a childhood mistake.
why was Howard in the apartment?
Cause of Kim’s con
from the game Kim mom pulled and stealing the earrings she had a lot of slipping Jimmy to her
Why did Howard get killed in the apartment?
Because of Jimmy's ties with the cartel
If the mom had the money she would have used a lawyer to get her daughter off. She didn't so she did what she had to do
Jimmy ties to the cartel didnt lead to Howard being in the apartment
if Kim told Jimmy about Lalo - Howard would be alive
if Kim took the pro bonna fund seriously and ended the con like Jimmy suggested Howard would be alive
if Kim agreed with Jimmy and canceled when the judge had a broken arm Howard would be alive
Kim is more cupable for Howard's death...she admitted it in last night episode. she put the enjoyment of completing the con ahead of her, jimmy and unforunately howard's safety
I think its unfair to blame Jimmy for Lalo being there (even though Kim didnt tell him he was alive and Kim stated Jimmy would've gotten them outta dodge)
while ignoring that Kim was the main reason Howard was in the apartment to get killed as collateral damage
There still a few eps left...I hope we get some closure as to what becomes of Kim. I was worried she would get caught up and get killed at some point.
See, I saw that scene differently. My take was that Kim's mother put her up to the whole thing stealing the earrings. The only reason Howard died was because of Jimmy messing with the cartel. Without that connection Howard would have rebuilt his reputation and gone along with his life.

I know that, but I have a feeling we may only see Kim again in one of the "Gene" scenes from the present. There still a few eps left...
See, I saw that scene differently. My take was that Kim's mother put her up to the whole thing stealing the earrings.
The mom was basically her first introduction to a Slipping Jimmy or Saul Goodman type, which is why she was so attracted to him when they would pull the scams together.
I know this is some amateur psychology sessions we're playing here, lol, but that's my take on it.
that was my interpretation as well
Kim thought she was in trouble
But her mom pulled a con, stole the earrings for her and held her hand…Dime store psychologist but Kim was drawn and found love/excitement in the slipping Jimmy/conning Momma type
I love the Kim character and her arch but she was no angel or innocent victim of Jimmy
Yeah, I'm thinking either her or Gus (in his earlier life) would be perfect for a spinoff.I wouls
I would not be surprised to see her get her own spin off. With her leaving jimmy it opens up all kinds of avenues to take the character. She know deep down inside she's no good, and you could build an amazing story off that.

writers better not fuck us with a Kim death in a flashforward. I really liked Kim since season 2.I wouls

You make a good point, but Jimmy knew what the cartel was capable of first hand. He saw Tuco break the skateboarder's legs, defended Lalo for a cold-blooded murder and had somebody's brain splattered on him in the middle of the desert.
Yet he conned Kim into thinking it wasn't that bad. If she had really known she never would have tried to scam Howard in the first place.
She also would have got the hell away from Jimmy from the jump. So he lied to keep her around.
Contrast this with Gus who picked up a guy at the bar and left them hanging just so he wouldn't get hurt.
yeah in the pilot episode it was jimmys idea for the skateboarders to pull that con
everything bad that happened( to chuck, howard, kim) either directly or indirectly was his fault
