New one? Paper Tiger was solid. I’ll check for it. The Chappelle speech is blasted all over their shit right now so a lot of shit is personally getting overlooked
yeah they slipped it in a few days ago.. apparently it was filmed a while ago so some of it feels dated..

I swear though he's been reading the BGOL Bible on women though. Like he was quoting scripture lol..

Saw the finale was live just now. That was my cue lol. Couldn’t do another week to week right now with The Boys just ending Old Man goin and now Saul back. Glad it held up well enough.

It's hard to keep up with everything these days. I have a few series recordings set, and some notes on what days to dload the other stuff, lol.

Got some family members who don't have HBO, Showtime, AMC ... so have to save stuff to a folder for them (and transfer it to a flashdrive for them at a later point in time). They don't do streaming, etc, haha.

Have a folder set aside called "SAVE FOR MOM OR DAD" ...

 :roflmao3:

I need to go back to listening to his Monday Morning podcast. It was good for some laughs with his takes & rants a few years back.

"Ohhhhhhh Jeeeeeeesus!"

The terminal list

Chris Pratt stars as a Navy SEAL. I'm not going to tell you anything about this show, but Antoine Fuqua directed the first episode. That should be all you need to know.

James Reece returns home after his entire platoon of Navy SEALs is ambushed, only to discover new dark forces working against him and endangering the ones he loves.

It's legit so far I'm on episode 2

poem on hard work in hindi

One thing I hate that they do in TV shows and movies is the planted gun. It's like they don't understand GSR (gun shot residue)

If you are going to pretend as if someone shot themselves to commit suicide you've got to:

1) You've got to have them fire a shot (preferably into a lower wall or a couch or mattress. That way they will have GSR on their body

No GSR, then it is a homicide and not a suicide

RUSSIAN DOLL

MANIAC

Resident Evil on Netflix
I'm in the middle of episode 6 and I'm actually enjoying this series for the most part. The CGI is pretty good and imaginative especially with the mutated animals and insects. The dynamics between the characters are pretty good.Lance Reddick is always good.Turlough Convery is extremely funny I thought he was Jack Black for a few minutes. Paola Nunez is pretty good too. I have to agree with some critics stating this has a network TV vibe to it. Especially episode 5....good grief CW network vibe and then some.

well, its like people who keep watching underworld and expecting it to be good
resident evil latest reactions

 I struggled staying woke, while watching the first 4 episodes. I kept rewinding and re-watching those mofos. The thing that happened at the end of the

sixth episode. Had me like damn, ok now thats interesting. I want to believe this shit was called and was developed as something else. But they just slapped

Resident evil name on this, so they can get a bigger budget, from Netflix.

I only caught the pilots for each too.

Have been meaning to circle back to Russian Doll for quite some time. 2nd season being released in recent months and all. Have heard all the good reviews for s1 from critics.

I just found Natasha Lyonne irritating. I dunno.

This lmao

Jonah Hill and Emma Stone for me too I think re MANIAC.
HBO max apparently has Station 12 or something like that from Maniac creators so maybe that’ll be easier to get with…

Agreed. It was like nails on a chalkboard, lol.

Good cast in Maniac.

Are you thinking about Station 11 on HBO Max? I saw the first 3 eps. It was hit and miss. Really enjoyed some parts, other times it was meh.

Witness Number 3

Single mum and hairdresser Jodie Packer witnesses something seemingly innocuous, but soon finds herself as the significant witness in a murder enquiry and facing a campaign of intimidation. As Jodie’s paranoia grows, a local gang mounts a terrifying threat against her and her young son Kyle. Thriller,

RUSSIAN DOLL s1 = Groundhog Day meets Counterpart (STARZ) / Flashpoint (DC)

very slow start
but show improves greatly with every episode

RUSSIAN DOLL s2 = poorly written copy of Life on Mars (ABC or BBC)

I quit after 3eps

Was wondering what the heck happened to this show..i remember when the first season aired on CBS

And yea its like what if Nathan Drake and Lara Croft teamed up

yep. That’s the one I was thinking of. Doesn’t sound like either Maniac/11 are worth theinvestment. Least not right now.

Just finished WE OWN THIS CITY

Damn. No fat on that. Like the wire in 6 Vs 60 episodes. Journalistic shit. Hard man. But damn. I’m always better for the shit they put out. The work they put in.

Agreed. We Own this City was great. All quality, no filler. Left everyone wanting more.

Man. I still ain’t even seen DEADWOOD lol. I figure I’ll watch those two simultaneously at some point. Where is JUSTIFIED streaming?

My dad was a fan of Deadwood and Hell on Wheels. He got into them partly after they started but caught most of their runs.

It’s been fun talking shows with him as he checks out alot of what BGOL is discussing. So it’s great to keep up with stuff with him compared to the old days of lots of shitty shows on
Major networks. These shows on specialty cable and streaming are much better!!

I finally finished Jupiter Legacy from Netflix. And I thought it was good. I watched the first three episodes. And either started watching something else or was back to playing video games.

I dont remember, but anyways I thought it was good. But obviously it wasn't good enough to be renewed. I may pickup the comics up later in the year. To finish up and see what happens.

Mom recommended Black Bird the other day as she was 3 eps in and enjoying it. Checked out the pilot yesterday - it’s good. Gonna continue with it.

7 eps into the rewatch of The Wire.

Everything's Trash on Hulu
This was a forced by my family watch.
I'm not going to lie and say I didn't laugh at some of the situations in the show but I'm so tired of these shows with women counseling and giving out advice as if they are on top of things then it's revealed the character is broke and will spread her legs, have unprotected sex with any man at the drop of a hat. Then try to dump the guy because he's not worthy. Shouldn't you have found that out before you hit the sheets with him?!?

RAP SH!T on HBO Maybe im getting old but this show is obnoxious. From the ratchet behavior to them relying on POV camera work. I am enjoying the nude scenes though.
