Interesting take. I’ve traveled and lived in the southern parts of this country and what you’re saying is absolutely true. There’s fuckery everywhere you go. I’m not denying that or making it seem like it exists in small places here and there. It’s everywhere for sure. Even up here in the north. I mean the backwoods of Connecticut might as well be Stone Mountain, Georgia with snow.
That being said, my odds of being shot in Chicago, New Orleans, Detroit or Baltimore proper are far greater than the outskirts. Why’s that? Because the numbers of violent crime are far more prevalent in these areas.
